For groceries and a great bottle of wine, Trader Joe's is practically walking distance. When you don't feel like cooking — and you will have at least one of those nights — head to Walt's Fish Market, the only spot in Sarasota where the fish was swimming that morning. The casual waterfront vibe is exactly what a vacation dinner should feel like, and the kids will love watching the boats.

If your crew likes to stay active, the Legacy Trail is just a four-minute drive — a paved, car-free path perfect for morning runs, family bike rides, or a long walk. The chef's kitchen is fully equipped with new stainless steel appliances — induction cooktop, built-in oven and microwave, full-size refrigerator, and dishwasher — plus a slow cooker, blender, mixer, quality knives, cutting boards, and all the pots, pans, plates, and utensils you need to cook real meals for a big group.

Pull up to the breakfast table for quiet mornings with the kids, or gather everyone around the dining table that seats six with room to add chairs. On warm evenings — and even those cool, breezy winter nights — take dinner out to the screened-in porch where the al fresco table is waiting.

The brand-new heated pool is the centerpiece of this home. Warm it up to 80°F on request at no extra charge — which means even during a February escape or a shoulder-season getaway, the kids can swim comfortably while you stretch out poolside. A few helpful details: check-in is at 4 PM and checkout is at 10 AM, with your smart lock code sent before arrival. The pool is heated to 80°F on request at no charge. Weekly pool and lawn maintenance will take place during your stay to keep everything in top shape. Given that the pool is not caged-in, you might occasionally find some leaves due to strong winds. A leaf skimmer is also available for use.

Pets are welcome with a $150 pet fee — more than two pets just need a quick approval. We kindly ask that little ones are always supervised around the pool area, and that glassware stays indoors for everyone's safety.

This is a family home in a peaceful neighborhood, so quiet hours are 10 PM to 8 AM, and the property is strictly non-smoking. If there's anything at all we can do to make your stay more comfortable, please don't hesitate to reach out — we're always happy to help.

We have beach chairs, umbrellas (although we do not guarantee the quantity as things tend to come and go between guests) , and plenty of beach towels. We have some beach toys but no scuba or snorkeling gear.
