Steps To Beach - Spacious Peaceful Cottage w/ Cook

45 minutes from Sangster International Airport is the seaside community of Duncan Bay, a hidden gem where you will be spending a peaceful beach vacation with family or friends. Upon arrival you are welcomed by the sound of the Caribbean Sea that is but a stone’s throw away from the beautiful Sea Miracle Villa.

Upon your arrival, you and your guests will be pleased to find that a clean, spacious home awaits you. If you so choose our wonderful housekeeper Althea will have a hot meal and a cold drink ready for you also. Althea’s services, to include laundry, cleaning, and cooking are included in your stay if you so desire. Purchase of groceries for which the guest is responsible can be arranged either via Althea or with the local grocer (5 minutes away) who offers delivery service.

A wonderful night’s sleep awaits in any one of the three air-conditioned bedrooms, two of which have king-sized beds, complete with en-suite bathrooms for your convenience. The living room may also be used to comfortably sleep two additional guests on the daybed with pop-up trundle – a fourth bathroom is available for their convenience as well. Every room in this home is equipped with a ceiling fan to keep the home as cool as possible.

You will find it a pleasure to wake up in the morning to a light-filled fully equipped kitchen where you can make a hot cup of coffee with the Ninja coffee maker and enjoy your breakfast inside or outside in the front garden. Indulge in an early morning stroll along the beach – you may be accompanied by our local furry friends, the “brown dog posse” as I playfully refer to them as who enjoy seeing people. If you’re up early enough you may see the local fishermen going out to sea for that fresh seafood catch cooked up at the bars & restaurants at Jacob Taylor Beach next door – a fishing village and craft market by day, with sometimes lively local entertainment at night.

When you’re not spending time at the beach, relaxing in the front garden, or catching up on your favorite TV shows in the living room, Sea Miracle is right in between some of the most beautiful attractions in Jamaica – from Falls to Caves, cruises to lagoons, snorkeling & scuba, all are within a 45 minute drive from Duncan Bay, so there’s ample opportunity to explore the natural beauty and wonder that is Jamaica!

Beautiful Caribbean getaway

We loved our 1 week stay at Sea Miracle!! Lee-Ann was very helpful and easy to contact. She was pro-active when there was a minor issue with the freezer that she got fixed within a day. The house was just a very short walk away from a beautiful beach that was clearly a hidden gem. We loved how Duncans wasnt touristy at all! We hired Pablo to drive us around for multiple excursions throughout the week. Beds were very comfortable and were very happy to have AC on the warmer nights. The really best part of our vacation was the very lovely Althea! OMG, her cooking was fantastic and she coordinated the groceries to make this vacation super relaxing. She kept the house absolutely spotless as well! This is my 4th vacation to the Caribbean and it was my favorite so far...so I highly recommend Sea Miracle to anyone that wants a laid back vacation. 7 out of 5 stars (mostly for the amazing location and Althea's amazing cooking). Just note that some roads are really bad so excursions outside Montego Bay take much longer that you'd expect.

Wonderful from A to Z

The cottage is beautiful, large and comfortable, we were 6 people. It is equipped with all modern appliances, even solar heater and solar generated electricity for the ACs. The owner was friendly and super helpful to arrange tours, transfers and even a cook who cooked local dishes and knew everybody around. We felt safe and relaxed, it was a wonderful vacation.

I was born and raised in Jamaica, and after living overseas for over 20 years have this great opportunity to own a home by the beach in my home country for me and my family to enjoy. While we're not here, we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Sea Miracle is my own little slice of paradise. Duncan Bay is tucked away in the Silver Sands area of Trelawny. The villa is literally 3 doors down from the beach so I can stroll to the beach for an early morning dip, or chill out in the evening. When I fly into Montego Bay I know I can be home in under an hour and on the beach right away. And when I want to take my kids out to explore Jamaica, we're literally 45 minutes from all the Ocho Rios and Montego Bay attractions.
