Lake Charrette Retreat is an upscale home where family and friends can escape everyday life, reconnect with each other and nature, and create unforgettable memories. Large stone home located on a 1.4 acre wooded lot boasts of private dock, lakeside fire pit, furnished decks as well as private pool, hot tub and beach on the shore of Lake Charrette! It has 6 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, 2 family rooms with 4K TVs, a shuffleboard, large well-stocked kitchen and deck with gas grill which are perfect for family gatherings. Also included are 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, lily pad and numerous board games which make for a fun stay. There is access to resort amenities including 18 hole golf course, an abundance of lakes, hiking trails, swimming pool, exercise facility, and more. An ideal location for swimming, fishing, and fireside gatherings.

Beautiful lake house!

Wonderful home for a family gathering! The home was very clean with a fully stocked kitchen! Great view of the lake and the pool & hot tub were really nice and relaxing! The kids loved the arcade and shuffle board too! Owners are very nice and made us feel so welcome there! We would definitely stay there again!

Amazing property that has it all.

Our family stayed there Aug 3 to 10th. We had 9 people, two teenagers and a 10 year old. We really enjoyed the beautiful house, pool, hot tub, and lake. The property was well equiped with everything we needed. The boys enjoyed fishing and having smores by the lake. The game room was fantastic and got a lot of use. Also, wow, what a great book collection in the living room! Everyone found what they loved. David was a great host and walked us through any questions we had, and responed immediately. It was a dream vacation.

Perfect retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home in Innsbrook. It was our first time visiting the community. The home is tucked away nicely in its own cove and is convenient to the golf course and the Market (Starbucks coffee, yay!) The pool area is beautifully landscaped and leads down to the dock. Our kids loved the kayaks and SUPs. Inside the home the layout worked great for us. The kitchen has plenty of room and is equipped very nicely. We really appreciated the S’mores ingredients left for us by the owners! David was very accommodating and communicated throughout to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We are hoping to make it back soon!

Relaxation & Fun

Our family of 7 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 infant enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property! The house is spacious, fully stocked, and very clean. The house is situated on a quiet cove of the lake which provided privacy. We loved the salt water pool with basketball hoop and took the paddleboards and kayaks out on the calm lake daily. It rained one day during our stay, however, we had some competitive matches on the shuffleboard table:) Our 2 yr old granddaughter enjoyed feeding the animals at nearby Big Joel's Petting Zoo. We had planned on other activities, but relished our time spent around the pool and on the lake. Host David was available and responsive before and during our stay. We hope to return next year!

Family getaway.

Our family of 13 again enjoyed staying here; we were here two years ago. Everyone enjoyed the pool, lake, kayaking, and game room. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed. The S’mores basket was also an unexpected treat.

We had another wonderful stay at Lake Charrette! David and Debbie added a hot tub which was a great treat for us. We’re looking to book another stay for the winter to enjoy the hot tub again!

Great Family Vacation Home

The house was perfect for us, our 4 daughters, 4 son-in-laws and 4 grandchildren (under 7). Having the pool was special, in that, it kept us all together. We had one issue and David was incredible responsive. I highly recommend this property for large family gatherings.

Beautiful resort home close to St Louis

Many thanks to David (owner) for providing this very large and comfortable home located within a most peaceful resort, an easy drive from St Louis. Our family, totaling 14, included 8 adults and children ranging in age 1 to 10. The home is a gem. Kitchen is the most equipped I've ever seen in a rental. Home is spacious, inside and out, and very clean. Private swimming pool, dock, boating equipment, and amenities of Innsbrook all add up to a 5-Star experience. Communication with David always very prompt. We would not hesitate to return again!!

Incredible Getaway for R&R

This property was truly incredible…as beautiful as all of the pictures! The kids absolutely loved the bunk room. All mattresses were super comfortable and all linens were very nice! Kitchen was well appointed for nights of grilling and cooking! Location of the fire pit for sunset s’more making was perfection! Pool was so clean and plenty of areas of shade. My sons loved taking the kayaks out and were able to catch small mouth bass. Really just an unbeatable property for guests of all ages. Will definitely be back!

Better than Lake of the Ozarks!

I couldn’t dream up a better lake vacation oasis for a big family. We enjoyed it all- a beautiful pool, paddle boards, kayaks, grill nights, smores by the lake, movies and Xbox. The kid room was perfect and they even had a pack n play for our infant. The big kitchen was perfect for big family meals. I would pick this spot over crowded Lake of the Ozarks any day for a secluded, fun family Lake get away. Thanks for being great hosts David and Debbie!

Wonderful Family Getaway!

We had a wonderful stay here! The hosts were responsive and helpful. The pool was very clean and clearly well cared for. We went to Cedar Lake Cellars, a winery just a few miles away from the house, that had live music and we went golfing at the beautiful Innsbrook Golf Course as well. Highly recommend staying here! Thank you David and Debbie!

AWESOME PLACE

My family, 14 in total ranging in ages from 11 years old to adults, had a fabulous 4 day stay thanks to this wonderful house and property. The house was spotless, up to date, very spacious, and gorgeous. The salt water pool was super clean with more than enough lounge chairs and deck space. The property backing to a cove on the lake added to more exciting times with the provided kayaks, paddle boards and life preservers. The kitchen was both beautiful and well stocked, and with the grill outside made for great cooking serving, and eating. I almost feel like our host, David, was a friend of mine. I say that because I had texted a few questions to him prior to our stay and each text was responded to super promptly. He was also available during our stay if needed. I would HIGHLY recommend this place for a great getaway stay.

Family vacation

Wonderful home. Great location within Innsbrook. Family, especially the teens, loved the pool and pool toys. Great for two of us, our three children and their spouses, plus four grandchildren. Well equipped with games, kitchen supplies including spices and coffee, and plenty of towels (including beach. This was our second year and hope to be back next year.

Wonderful Property!

This is a fantastic house that’s perfect for a multi-family trip. The kids loved the bunk room. We swam in the pool and lake everyday and had movie and game nights every night. The hosts are every attentive and responsive. We will be back!

Lake Charrette Reunion

The home was beautiful inside & out. The kitchen was well equipped right down to the owner's favorite coffee (delicious & thoughtful) Even the hand soaps were amazing. The pool was perfect & the pool side furniture was as comfortable as it looked. The dock & boats were great and a big thank you to the owners for the s'mores welcome package to use by the lake side fire pit. Even the fishing was great. We try to do reunions once every few years. This property was my favorite. Thanks, David & Debbie!

Perfect place for family

Everyone enjoyed the house and all the amenities the owners had available for us. The pool met our expectations and since the weather was on the cooler side we did have the option to turn on the heater to the pool. The house had everything we needed for food preparation. Plenty of towels available for the pool, nice seating around the pool. Having the house so close to the lake made it very convenient for the kids and adults alike. The lake is small but perfect to enjoy with kayaks, paddle boards and fishing. The owner was very responsive on all of my questions. The owners seemed to have thought of everything we would need. Lots of board games, blankets, towels, fully equipped kitchen and showering necessities. We would definitely go back to this location

Debbie and I are both from Missouri. We met years ago when we attended the University of Missouri, Columbia. I was immersed in Mechanical Engineering while Debbie pursued a degree in Business. A few years later we were married and eventually raised three children who are now building a life of their own. We enjoy sharing our dream with others, trying to create an place where families and friends can relax and enjoy a peaceful time away from the business of everyday life.

We like the quiet area where we can see a deer, turkey, fox, hawk or just relax and enjoy the mesmerizing sight and sound of water.

We love the location and the house. Situated in a quiet cove, we find peace and tranquility in everyday things. A fresh cup of coffee overlooking Lake Charrette. A game of cards at the dining room table. Or watching a movie after a busy day. We love it all and hope you do too!
