This cottage was built in 2023. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Will accommodate up to 10 people. Fully equipped kitchen including linens. Bath towels and start up supplies are included. You are just steps away from the waters edge, not lake front. Swim area for the older swimmers with a floating raft, walk out area for the little swimmers too. With pier space to park a boat. After a great day on the water come back to relax on the deck and light a fire in the fire pit. Gas grill and propane is also a great added feature to this large comfortable cottage.
JAG House was perfect for our family. Beach and dock for swimming were really convenient, and we used them daily. Nice kayaks to use, also. Storm rolled through and lost power but we were provided a generator to keep food cold and have light until power returned. We are definitely planning to go again next summer.
We absolutely loved our syay in this cottage. Our group of friends spent the weekend here for a local wedding. There were 9 guests in all and it was absolutely comfortabel for all of us. There was plenty of room and a great living space. Communication with the host was always easy and steamlined. They worked very hard to give us a good experience! Would be happy to book this again!
The cabin was fantastic so clean and Comfortable. Kathy Was an exceptional host and an amazing person She went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic! The cabin is close to a little store and several restaurants on the lake If you are looking for something close to the water, this is a definite find! You wonât be disappointed!
I gotta say Kathy was very communicative about checking in and even better checking out! Would highly recommend this to anyone venturing to enjoy the barbee chain of lakes.
We all enjoyed the time spent at Big Barbee. From an amazing host Kathy to time spent with five cousins together for a week. Tennessee and Middlebury apart and thoroughly enjoy this cottage. Clean, beautiful, and no problems at all. Thanks Kathy for the experience!!
We live in Ft. Wayne but hope to retire at the Lake. We spend a lot of time at the Lake. It is so peaceful and we love the wild life, fish, birds, dear, turtles, turkeys, etc. My Grandparents bought their first cottage here in 1958. I grew up at the Barbee Chain of Lakes. My grandparents rented many cottages. They taught me a lot. I have happy vacationing people come and visit what is not to love! I hope you grow to love the lakes as much as I do.
I bought my first cottage in 2000. It was a cottage my Grandparents had owned and rented. Three monthâs later I bought the cottage my Grandparents lived in. Over the years I have had the opportunity to buy more cottages. We are blessed to have yard space and parking for 3 cars. Lake lots are small in most cases.
