Quiet Lakefront Cabin resort on Clam Lake. Cabins are 50 feet from the shoreline providing incredible views. Clam Lake is part of a chain of lakes that connect to Torch Lake, Lake Bellaire & Grass River Natural Area. Just 10 mins away from Shorts Brewery in charming downtown Bellaire and Glacial Hills Nature trails. Enjoy our lakeside fire pit, cozy wooden swings, and roped off sandy bottom swimming area. Help yourself to free use of kayaks, row boats, and docks
We really enjoyed our stay. The property manager was very nice and responsive. I had to contact him right after I had arrived at the property, he was very quick on calling me back. It was nice to have kayaks, life jackets, a small fishing boat free to use while staying. If staying in the main house, there is only air conditioning in the bedroom, the rest of the house does not have air conditioning.
We had a wonderful time at Northaire Resort in Bellaire last week. The cottage was just the right size for us and had that great "Up North" feeling. We were located right on the water and had our two grown daughters, two granddaughters and two dogs with us and had plenty of room in the Full Moon cottage. We especially enjoyed one day out on a pontoon boat that we rented directly from Northaire and that was wonderful! Northaire is located in a beautiful part of Michigan, surrounded by water, sand dunes, and forest and there are several small towns nearby with plenty of quaint restaurants and shops.
We loved our stay. Great location on Clam Lake. It was great being able to have our groupâs boat parked at the dock throughout our stay. The kayaks and canoes were great for morning cruises around the lake. Nice roped off swimming area. Loved hanging out on the swing and enjoying the view. Note that these are older cabins but well maintained and comfortable. The bathroom is very small but in good working order. Dale was very helpful and provided good info for boating on the interconnected lakes. We hope to visit again!
Clam Lake is a wide channel between Lake Bellaire and Torch Lake, which makes for wonderful watercraft watching as all kinds of boats make their way to and from the larger lakes. Sunrises in mid-September were stunning! The cabin is one of four or five on this property and we understand they were built in the 1940's. There is a real charm to them and all "retrofitting" of plumbing, shower, toilet in our cabin seem to have been done as thoughtfully as possible. The beds were super comfy! The nighttime quiet was really awesome. Sadly, it doesn't seem like thorough cleaning/dusting are routine (e.g. all windowsills needed sweeping out) and we have dust sensitive allergy folks in our family, so this was challenging. It was really nice to have access to kayaks at no additional charge. Thank you!
We stayed at this cabin for 7 days during august 2021. The 3 bedrooms were a comfortable and clean. This is a cabin so everything is a bit small and dated, but you are not here for that. Clam Lake feeds an amazing chain of lakes. This rental gives you access to both a dock space and trailer parking. You can rent anything right from here. You can swim or fish right off the dock.
Cabin could certainly use a good cleaning but other than that everything was great!
We really enjoyed our stay perfect location property owner was friendly and helpful. Just wish the cabin was cleaner lots of dust wall boards dirty dead bugs on carpet in bedroom (need a good vacuuming) mouse pee and poop in oven (lots) nothing we couldn't clean up but didn't like having to do so. We got thru it and had a really good time. Love being able to dock our boats right at our cabin.
We were amazed at how nice Northaire was. The cabins were clean and well maintained. We had a nice welcome basket waiting for us when we arrived. The staff was friendly and nice. The location was perfect, whether you traveled by boat or car. Lots of places to eat. We liked it so much we booked for this year. We waited a little too long, we did not get the in cabin that we had last year, but I am sure the one we got will be equally as nice.

I found this on line so we were not sure what to expect, it was wonderful
Great Relaxing Location with Beautiful surroundings, nice docks to park your boat and a short ride to Beautiful Torch Lake, the Cabin was very cozy with great view of the water. Nice sandy roped off swim area for the children to swim, We will be back to stay at Northaire Resort in the near future.
