Welcome to the CBus City Cottage where you are only a short walk to OSU, many restaurants, bars, shops, and entertainment. After a day of fun return to unwind with peaceful nights in this quiet neighborhood tucked right behind the most lively street in Columbus.
The space
Our home in the Old North community was built in 1900. We have tried to preserve it's old world charm while adding convenient and modern functionality. The living room, kitchen and bathroom are located on the 1st floor main level. Both bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor of the house. Sleep in as long as you like with "black-out" curtains in each bedroom. There are two rollaway beds available for additional guests to use. These are for use in the living room as there are several stairs to climb and the stairwell is pretty narrow.
There are two areas to enjoy the outdoors on this property. The side main entrance has a bistro set for up to 4 people to enjoy and the backyard patio can accommodate 6 on the cinderblock benches. You are welcome to enjoy the propane firepit. We provide 1 complimentary tank of propane per reservation. Smoking of any kind is not allowed in the home, but you may smoke on either patio. Ashtrays are provided.
If you have any special requests or questions, please feel free to reach out and we will do our best to help. We are excited to share our space with you! We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire home with exception to locked storage areas.
House was pretty nice. Loved the backyard and has all the accommodations you could want. It is within walking distance of Historic Crew Stadium. The only drawback in my opinion was the neighborhood. A few people would end up sitting on the lawn or on the curb througnout the night and that made me a little uneasy the first day.
Convenient. Cozy. Charming. Definitely would stay again. One bathroom and steep stairs but other amenities offset that like the patio and propane fireplace. Loved it.
My family and I are self-proclaimed "travelholics," and have been using vacation rentals to see the world for more than a decade and now we are so excited to share our space!
I'm an Ohio native and have lived in Columbus for many years. We are former full-time RVers and have traveled the country, but our hearts brought us right back here to Columbus! We enjoy the many restaurants, festivals and family entertainment that the city provides. We think you will too! Be our guest!
