Water's Edge Retreat is a four-season beautiful lakefront property. Minutes from world class fishing on the Salmon River. Situated on Fawn Lake, with a private beach this space is perfect for kayaking, canoeing, swimming and fishing. This spacious home will provide you the perfect getaway for fishing, snowmobiling or vacationing.

Perfect location for the outdoor enthusiast! Just minutes from Interstate 81 & less than a mile from the world famous Salmon River. This spacious 4+ bedroom home overlooking beautiful Fawn Lake is the perfect get-away & even includes an attached garage for your use. Access the Oswego County ATV system and C-5 Snowmobile trail right from your driveway & enjoy the amazing Tug Hill trail system which will take you to the Adirondacks & beyond.

Visit the NY State Salmon Hatchery less than 2 miles away and also the scenic Salmon River Falls less than 4 miles away!

The Main floor features a spacious great room with wood beams, living room & dining room with plenty of seating, fully applianced kitchen complete with dishes, silverware, pots and pans, dishwasher, microwave, 12 cup coffee maker, single cup Keurig, 2 slice toaster, blender, electric range, and refrigerator w/water & ice maker. You will enjoy the convenience of WIFI and high speed internet. There's no shortage of entertainment with 6 flat screen TV's and 4 DVD players.

The main floor offers 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and bedroom 2 has a full bed and twin bunkbeds. The upstairs also features a full bath, Bedroom 3 with a queen bed, Bedroom 4 with a double bed and twin bunkbeds. The lower level offers a room with with one queen bed and twin bunk beds, laundry room/mud room and 1 car garage.

***Please note we do NOT provide linen service. Please bring your own sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, hand towels, kitchen towels, etc. All beds have pillows (without pillowcases) and a bedcover/quilt.***

The home is heated with a combo of zoned electric heat and propane for maximum comfort. Window air conditioners for bedrooms and living room are provided in the summer (June-August). The attractive rustic decor, exposed beams, and pine add to the warm relaxing feeling you deserve while you are on vacation.

Outside features a fire pit facing the lake. Cut firewood is available in our woodshed for your convenience. Beautiful Fawn lake is perfect for swimming, fishing, canoeing, birding and kayaking. There is 1 canoe with oars, 4 kayaks with paddles, a rowboat and a paddle boat available for your use. In the summer, you will enjoy the dock and private beach. Enjoy great views of the lake from the home, picnic area, and screened porch, front and back deck. Propane grill on the back deck with multiple picnic tables on the grounds.

The owners were very professional and always essy to communicate with. The house was perfect for our family. We had two small children with us and the layout of house and property was beneficial. We had lots of open space to keep the kids entertained inside and out. It was private and secluded, but close enought to a dollar general, 2 miles away or Pulaski was just 15 min away for everything else.Very relaxing stay and would recommend this place highly to anyone looking for a nice place to stay, private and peaceful with great owners to support your stay.

Property is very private, the kids enjoyed the beach area and the boats. the kitchen has everything you need for a week’s stay. The owners have thought of everything, even a charging station for phones, etc.We have so many great memories from this vacation and can’t wait until next year.

We had an amazing week at Waters Edge Retreat! Perfect little place to get away from it all and just relax. The house was wonderful, beds comfortable, and kitchen well stocked. The beach and water were great for all the swimming and floating we did. The firepit was awesome for nightly family smores and laughs- and bonus, firewood provided! Pretty private location and was great for us to not drive 2 hours, yet super rural, wooded retreat! Thank you for sharing your lakehouse! We would definitely book this again!

As per usual (because we’ve been staying here for about five years now every summer), it was fabulous! The view is amazing. The lake is clean and very kid friendly. The house has all the amenities you could want. And the owners are very accommodating. You basically have your own piece of paradise for a week because a lot of the neighbors aren’t around and if they are, it’s quiet overall.

Still the same great location from when I stayed 7 years ago!

First off, Christy is great! Communicated with us all through out the stay for anything we needed! The house was just as good as when I stayed there 7 years ago! The location is perfect, so much to do, we had so much snow it was perfect for snowmobiling and when we got back we could kick our feet up and hang on the couch. We dug out the fire pit from the mountains of snow and hung out and ordered pizza one night from one of the places on the refrigerator! We will definitely be back! We forgot to sign the book always the best part reading everyone’s experiences. Thank you again!

Another great stay!

It was another great stay for our group of 8. As usual, everything was in order at the house upon arrival. The owners communication is top notch for the entire process. I never had a bad word to say about staying here. While our group goes there to fish, it's also about the camaraderie, and having a place like this to ourselves adds to our fun. Highly recommend!

House is perfectly situated less than 5 minutes from the upper fly section of the Salmon River. Makes the end of great day fishing even better to get back to relax for dinner so quickly. House has all you need for a comfortable stay.

Lovely lakeside retreat

This was our 2nd stay (and just booked it again for next summer) and it was just as good as the first. Great house with plenty of room for our multi-age family to gather and relax. Loved kayaking/swimming nearly every day, hanging out on the screened-in porch, chatting around the large dining table.

Blissful weekend

This place was exactly what we hoped for plus more! We planned this weekend stay to be able to relax and spend the last bit of time together before school started. (My husband and 2 daughters are school teachers). We fished, sunbathed, played games and just enjoyed each others company. You provided practically everything that we needed! Thank you so much. We hope to return next year but for not just a weekend but a whole week!

Relax and “Check Out”

We had a wonderful stay at WER for our week there! We can’t say enough how gracious the owners were prior to our check in with answering several questions in a timely fashion. The house itself is stocked with games, an excellent assortment of cookware, and everything one may need for a stay there. The outside property is the true gem. If you are looking for a quiet and serene setting then look no further. There are several boats for use to traverse around the small lake, which we made use of on our daily (sometimes twice daily) fishing excursions. The fishing was some of the best I’ve had in recent times. Almost every cast was guaranteed a catch. Once we figured out the right blend of baits and lures, were pulling in 12-16” largemouth bass. All in all, WER is the perfect location to “check out” if you need a break from the craziness of the real world. We all took advantage of what it had to offer and came out feeling refreshed and sad for having to leave. We definitely will return in the future. I have already made reservations to come back in October for my annual Fall fishing trip and cannot wait! Thank you for everything, it was a truly spectacular experience!

Another Great Stay!

Wonderful week spent at the retreat! This was the 3rd time that our family including grandparents stayed at this property, but first time with the current owners. Campfires, board games & puzzles, fishing, kayaking, grilling, floating on the lake. This is a great place to get away from daily life, reconnect and make family memories. Beds are comfortable, AC units keep it comfortable, kitchen is well stocked, a lot of boats for the lake, plenty of firewood and a wonderful screened in patio. Every time we’ve been here we find something new to love!

Steelhead float trip

Our group has been steelhead fishing the river for many years together and it is not easy finding a house that can accommodate all of us comfortably. The house was awesome, plenty of room, all amenities, updated and clean. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks to Mike for a great experience.

It was it another great stay for our group. The house is always well maintained, clean, and has everything our larger group needs. Has all the amenities you need.
