Relaxation in a beautiful getaway

We felt as though the property owners had prepared for our arrival as if we were members of their own family. Could not have been improved on in any way

Amazing house

Amazing house! It is beautifully decorated with lots of small touches. House has everything you need. Kids were thrilled to watch train passing by. We all enjoyed a short bike ride to the beach. Heather is a great host.

More then you could ever ask for

By far the BEST rental I have stayed in. The host have thought of everything. From Phone chargers at every night stand to extra everything. If you forgot anything I think they had it for you. Plenty of spices if are wanting to cook and some of your basic condiments, no need to buy at the store. The location is wonderful. Easy to get to either town in MI or IN. The woods were so peaceful to watch the chipmunk and the Deer every morning. Yes there is a train that goes buy, but its Amtrak so less then 30sec of noise. I never heard it overnight. We did have trouble with the door lock, but I do believe it was totally user error. but the owners did call quickly and check on us. I might be ruined for other travels and rentals. This will be hard to top. I have posted it on my FB about my trip I hope others come and visit this beautiful place. The area has plenty to do with winery's and brewery's, beach, boats and and water sports, also outlet shopping. I hope to be back!!

Wonderful

The Getaway House is brand new, fresh, clean, BEAUTIFUL! We stayed 2 nights wish we could have stayed longer. We came to celebrate our granddaughter's 6th birthday who wanted to go to the beach which is 9 mins away. Loved it! What memories we made!! Heather has thought of everything if you forget anything, cause we did. She has extra toothbrushes, qtips, chargers to charge your phones. It was well stocked in the kitchen to the bathrooms to wood outside for the campfire. Talking about campfires we were welcomed with chocolate, marshmallows and graham crackers = Smores Yum! A bottle of wine but I dont drink but others did. Sweet gestures so thoughtful of everything! To a yeti bag for the beach with towels and a football, 3 bikes to ride, albums and games to play and soft warm blankets to cuddle up you find everywhere in the house. The beds were so comfy and relaxing. The woods in back and other the side are beautiful to hear birds and see deer from the back screened in porch! The only reason I gave it a 3 on location/neighborhood it's across the street in the front from hghwy 12 and railroad tracks that amtracks go by very fast and loud. Also 2 neighbors right nextdoor, the further one wasnt occupied. The windows on these houses are huge and beautiful but with neighbors partial in back and side you'll have to pull the shades down. Could use a shade in the shower upstairs even though it was a small window Overall Great Place to Stay!!!! :) Thank You Heather!

Fabulous!

This property is beautiful inside and out. The screened in porch was the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee and wildlife. The accomodations were clean and beautiful. Our hosts thought of every detail from a fully stocked kitchen to additional cords for electronics.
