Newly Renovated Lodge, 4 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Patio, Fire Pit (sleeps 8).

Located just outside of historic Moncks Corner, South Carolina, Wigeon Grove provides a serene setting for your next getaway. Nestled amongst the pines on 106 acres, you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city life but still have access to all modern amenities. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and all that nature has to offer. There are walking trails on the property for guests to use. You never know what you will see!

We rented this place as part of our wedding weekend. It was wonderful! The property is located outside of Moncks Corner and would be ideal even for a staycation away from the hustle and bustle. The house’s layout was spacious with a large great room, spacious kitchen with all the amenities to cook onsite and wonderful views to the outside. There was plenty of parking and plenty of space to enjoy the property. The weather was nice that we were able to enjoy the back porch as well. The decorating was very cozy, inviting and warm. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Great Stay

We spent a wonderful 3 days at this property celebrating a wedding at Pineland place. It was close to our family and about 15 mins to the main area of Monks Corner. The lodge was clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked with everything you need. In the coming years, we may book and do thanksgiving up there with our SC family.

Lovely facility

This was such a pleasant surprise-it was my second or third choice because the other locations kept getting booked before the family could agree on a location. I’m so glad this was the one we ended up staying in. Large, open family area with a huge kitchen, nice bathrooms, and big patio area. It’s right off the highway but it’s very quiet inside and hardly noticeable on the back patio. The guys enjoyed fishing in the pond and we walked the paths around the property. Short drive to Charleston. Great place to stay!

2025 Spring fishing trip

Me and my fishing buddies stayed at Widgeon Grove February 17-21 2025 and we were very impressed by this lodge. Honestly the pictures don’t do this place justice. We’ve been doing this spring trip for years and this trip was amazing. The fishing wasn’t great but the lodge was awesome. Caroline and her staff are great and answered all my questions quickly. We are already discussing dates for next year so we can book this lodge again. If you have a large group and want a comfortable stay while in this area you definitely want to give Caroline a call.There is so much room around the property you can park in 3 different spots and have access to power to charge you boat batteries. It is secluded so you have plenty of privacy. We all agree that this place is a 10 out of 10 and will stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay! The home was very clean, beautifully decorated, and had an open, spacious layout that was perfect for our family gathering. There was plenty of comfortable indoor seating as well as covered outdoor seating, making it easy for everyone to spend time together.The air conditioning was perfect, which made a huge difference during our stay. We especially enjoyed the covered porches with outdoor TVs, creating a great space to relax and unwind. The kitchen was large and well-equipped, making it comfortable to prepare meals for our large family. As an added bonus, the gas grill is connected to the home's propane supply, so there was no need to worry about running out of fuel while cooking.The fenced yard and fire pit were wonderful features. The fenced area gave us extra peace of mind with our busy younger children, especially since they were naturally curious about the nearby pond. It allowed them to play safely while the adults relaxed and enjoyed the property.One of the most beautiful highlights of the property was the stunning sunflower field, which added so much charm to the already gorgeous setting.Overall, this property exceeded our expectations and provided everything we needed for a memorable family getaway. We highly recommend it and would love to return!
