Peaceful and low key!

We were looking for a quiet and peaceful place to rest and relax. Outrigger #8 was that and more. Very comfortable, well equipped condo right on the gulf. Beautiful view. Sea birds and dolphins everyday! This unit had everything we needed with very helpful staff. We’re booking for next year!

The property was great,but red tide run us out.

The property was really great with a perfect location, but red tide was happening at that time and it sent us home after two days. But we'll be back.

We thank this guest for their honest feedback. Unfortunately, red tide has been affecting our area and is a condition that remains outside of our control, but thankfully is slowly diminishing. RVA and it's affiliated properties place our guest satisfaction at the highest level and therefore forgo all cancellation penalties for this guest to leave early. We kindly ask all guests to take such natural disasters into consideration when making their travel decisions, as well as assessments of the RVA experience. It is our understanding that RVA did everything within our power to try and salvage this guests experience.

Almost perfect

Everything was great; our only complaint was that the bedroom dressers were terrible, as the drawers were barely functional and constantly got stuck. This was not in keeping with the high quality of the other furniture in the unit and proved an annoyance throughout our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is small - only 8 units, which we loved - and well located. trees and undergrowth on the side, which added to privacy. It is an older unit, compared to the newer condos on the beach, but everything was adequate and clean. The unit is in the middle, so a bit dark, due to no windows on either side. The bedroom furnishings could use an upgrade and perhaps a curtain over the blinds, to reduce the amount of light seeping in from the outside stairs. Living/dining room decor is bright and attractive. Loved our ocean view from the second floor balcony.

The bed has a good mattress but very high - I needed a stool to get on. Kitchen has everything you could need and View of the Gulf from screened porch is great. Short to the water is the best. Pool is small but there. Closet is stocked with sand and water toys and lots of towels. Shower is good. Overall a great choice for a stay in lovely LongBoat Key.

The unit was exactly as depicted in pictures but the ease of beach access and uncrowded beach (with resort provided beach chairs) was a very pleasant surprise. We definitely hope to return for more stays here.

It is a small complex right on the beach and was just what we were looking for. It had everything we needed and was very cute. It didn’t have a ton of dishes but that was easy to supplement with paper plates. The only other thing was that the blinds didn’t totally block out the light outside our door which was on all night. We used a blanket to cover them. The location was perfect for us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were looking for a place to relax after a long 18 months of work with no break. Our room at Outrigger #8 was perfect. The unit was clean and had everything we needed-even a beach umbrella and boogie board! The kitchen was well equipped and the unit was clean and comfortable. The beach was great and since apparently this was the off season, we were the only ones in the building and had the whole beach to ourselves! It also helped that the weather was great. We just sat on the beach and read our books between our time in the water. We ate dinner each night at the local restaurants and the meals were delicious!
