Chris was absolutely amazing! From the moment we booked, he was attentive, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect. The place was beautiful—clean, comfortable, and even better than the photos. He truly went above and beyond to make our trip special. I can’t recommend him or his place enough!

The property is in a quiet neighborhood. I felt safe in the neighborhood. It’s a very small basement apartment. It is also very new and very clean. We enjoyed our visit. Access to public transportation into the city is a little bit difficult. In the end, we used Lyft to and from the city every day. I would recommend this property to my friends.

Great

Had a great stay, no complaints. Chris was extremely accommodating and offered a cleaning partway through the stay. Kitchenette was enough to cook meals with (portable stove, no oven). Street parking worked out for our 2 cars. Overall do recommend.

Perfect for a brief stay in the area or concerts at Met Life

Our stay at Maple ave was great!! When we arrived it was a quiet dead end road with curbside parking. The instructions for getting in were super clear, when we walked in everything looked perfectly clean, and the amenities were great for a short stay for a concert at MetLife. It took us approximately 15 minutes to drive from the apartment to the parking lot of the stadium, which was perfect. I would definitely stay there again!

Property as described

Easy to find, some items in the driveway as there is still some work being done to the walkway. Does not interfere with parking at all. Very clean inside. Outside door lock is a tad finicky. Would stay again if in the area.

Pros:1. Clean and Tidy rooms2. The photos mentioned online were exactly same the room were.3. All the room had AC.4. TV's had netflix subscription which helped us cut our time at night.Cons:1. Felt the bathroom sliding door was not that good while opening. wheels on the bottom side of the door might help it work better.2. No parking rules were mentioned. I got a parking ticket for the Wednesday alternate parking rule. A print out of the rules in the room might help the future customers.Overall the stay was excellent.

Great place to stay

Upon arrival to the property I thought the entry could use a little TLC outside . However when we entered the living quarters I was very pleased, it was clean, great lines and very modern. I needed to contact the host who was very responsive. I do have a couple of minor suggestions however; * install a blind in bedroom with the TV * add a full length mirror. There is one thing that needs to be resolved and that is the beeping noise coming from the Verizon network units, very annoying. Other then that we plan to stay there whenever we come to NJ.

Nat infested

The property was heavily nat infested. I did not feel safe because of how the unit was set up. Online it said we were 5 minutes from Theme park and 2 minutes from Metlife stadium when we were really 18-20 minutes away. I will never stay there again or refer anyone to stay there. Other than my events that I attended, it was a bad experience. To tell you the truth I would like some of my money back for all the Ubers I had to take and the nats everywhere.

Not what we were expecting

Chris was friendly and the property was clean, but several aspects didn’t match the listing. 1. The freezer was iced over, making it hard to use the drawers. 2. No TV in the living area as advertised, only in the bedrooms. 3. Daytime noise from neighbors was noticeable, though quiet at night. 4. The toilet was loose, wobbly, and plugged into the wall, making it noisy. 5. Missing paper towels. 6. The bed was hard. 7. The walkway to the apartment is very narrow, making it difficult to walk with something as simple as a pizza box. 8. The smell of weed was strong throughout the stay. 9. The "water view" isn't visible from the property, but can be seen on a walk. 10. The shared courtyard feels like part of a tenant's backyard, so we didn’t use it. 11. There were very few outlets in the apartment. 12. The "gym" is just a Tonal Home Gym. 13. There is only one mirror in the bathroom. The apartment could benefit its guests if it had more than one mirror, preferably full-length. If I hadn’t been with my husband, I would have likely left early. While Chris was helpful, future guests should be aware of these issues when considering the listing.
