My friends and I were attending a Conference in Lakeland and needed a place that was comfortable and convenient. This property more than met those needs. Our host, Edward, was responsive to questions and messages about our stay. If you are looking for a clean, quiet, convenient place to stay in Lakeland, I recommend this one.
This property was perfect for our stay. It was within walking distance of great restaurants and our conference. The owners were proactively communicative and incredibly responsive.
This home was perfect for our stay in Lakeland.
Great location, quiet neighborhood and Edward was so easy to work with. We loved the beds! So comfortable and the home was stocked with everything that we could possibly need. We will definitely be back! :)
The house was in immaculate condition and Edwardâs communication was clear and responsive. The location is great being so close to FSC and Born & Bread! Definitely would stay there again.
We were back in my hometown for a funeral and lived the walkability of the location. The host was very responsive and provided additional AC power for our hot natured family. Very nice.
The original property that we rented developed an HVAC issue, so that the owner offered the Villa instead. We were very appreciative of his accommodation. It is a beautiful property and the pool was very nice.
The home was exactly as represented online. Beautiful, clean, spacious and well appointed. The location is very convenient to all kinds of restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend.
LOVED this property! Spotless, plenty of room for our family. Great location. Walking distance to cob and pen, born and bread and concord coffee !!! Host respo ded quickly to questions. We enjoyed relaxing on porch on rocking chairs. Highly recommend!
We very much enjoyed our time in Dixieland. The house was just what we needed while we were in town visiting family. Everything was as expected and the owner was very quick to reply and address our needs. The close proximity to the downtown area was convenient. We also enjoyed the short walk to a little cafe and coffee shop.
Had to attend a business conference in Lakeland. The house was a perfect option for 3 adults attending the conference. The home was in a great location in town. We were able to walk to breakfast each day. We would definitely choose to stay at this location again.
Fabulous home. Excellent location to explore Tampa & Orlando
What a beautiful property this was! So well decorated and appointed. The host is outstanding. Loads of great restaurants near by. We really loved The Joinery for dinner. Easy drive to Tampa or Orlando for all the tourist stuff. Quiet neighborhood and little traffic. You'll love this place!
Very nice property in a quiet neighborhood. You would never know that you are only 1 block from one of the primary thoroughfares through Lakeland! This house was perfect for our family of 4 to use as home base for the week. Driving distance to the coast or to Orlando. Property owner was very responsive.
I reserved the house for my husband, his sister, and his mom to go to Lakeland to visit a sick relative. The three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were perfect for their needs. The amenities were excellent: High end towels and sheets, full size appliances, washer/dryer, toiletries, coffee maker with pods and creamers, comfortable beds, paper goods and toiletries. It had everything they needed for a comfortable stay. It was nice that the family had a place they could gather and have lunch together without having to go to a restaurant.
The house was very clean. They only saw one bug (it was a palmetto bug that probably flew in) and it was dying which showed the property had been treated for insects.
Edward was very responsive and helpful when I needed to contact him.
Unfortunately, we paid for three nights, and they only could stay for two. No refunds at that point, so it cost over $400 a night for their stay. Canât say it was worth that, but it was nice accommodations for when they were there.
The house itself was clean and as described, however during our stay the A/C stopped working and the house was 80 degrees inside. Another point of interest is my husband is allergic to dust and mold and his allergies went crazy and we had to move him to a hotel. Then with the A/C, the rest of us moved to a hotel. So the 5 days ended up costing us double. There were a few other minor things wrong with the place but we tried to overlook them (slow drain in shower/tub so standing in 3 inches of water, and ceiling air vent falling). One other point of interest-A/C was regulated and could not be set below 70 at night or 75 during the day, so if you like it colder than that, this is not the place for you. The owner/manager was responsive but we vacated due to the heat and didnât know how long it would take to fix. We definitely would not stay at this property again. On a positive note, it was a good location and close to everything we needed.
Great place centrally located between Orlando and Tampa
This cute bungalow home appears to be recently renovated. Furniture and fixtures are very nice. Appliances in great working order, large & clean bath towels and wash cloths, beds were clean and comfortable. This home is very functional for a long-term stay.
The only drawback in my opinion is the neighborhood. I was expecting a small town neighborhood within walking distance to various shops. We found we would have to drive a small way to get to the places we wanted to visit.
The neighborhood was quiet aside from occasional traffic noise and stereo noise, but this was only occasionally. We did not take any walks in the neighborhood or try to locate parks or coffee shops.
Note the back bedroom and bathroom will be about 5 degrees warmer than the rest of the home. But the ceiling fan helps to circulate the air a bit better.
Lakeland has a downtown area that is approximately a 5 to 7 minute drive where you can find shops and restaurants.
Overall, this is a good place to stay if you want a clean rental, and within a reasonable distance to theme parks or the Gulf.
