Peace Lodge was designed and built by award-winning architect Walter Nitsch in the 70's. The MCM style is highlighted by strong lines, beautiful wood, and expansive windows with incredible views. This lodge along with 2 others make up Selah - the Black River Lodges. It is nestled on 23 acres along the river. The property features a full football field, baseball field, basketball court, walking trails, fishing pond, sand volleyball pit, fire pits, and the shared use of an entertainment garage with pool table, foosball, and bar.
We utilized all three condos for a family wedding in the area. We had a lot of out of state/town family members of all ages and these three condos accommodated us very well. There are plenty of things to do right on the premises like fishing, football, baseball, foosball, pool, etc. The condos have all the items needed. We also enjoyed the outdoor deck area. It was a great gathering location for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Heather was an amazing host. There was nothing she wouldn't do to make sure we had everything we needed. The weather was very hot and humid and the place for the wedding was not air conditioned, so she graciously offered the use of her standing fans to help keep the air moving in the venue. She also helped secure babysitters and bussing help. I would highly recommend these beautiful, unique rustic condos for large gatherings. Thanks Heather again for all your help.
