A wonderful 3 bedroom/2 bath rental (1,000 sq. ft.) with central heat/air and private access to Hermosa Creek. Large master bedroom with King bed and ensuite bathroom. Two additional bedrooms, one with Queen bed and one with two XL Twin beds, both serviced by a second full hall bath. A fully equipped kitchen, including barware, allows for quiet dinners at home. 3 min. to PJ's Gourmet Market, Animas Wine & Spirits and Dalton Golf Club. 10 miles to Durango and 15 miles to Purgatory Ski Resort.

We live on the property, in a separate home, so we are always there should you need anything at all.

Lots of walking and biking options right out the front door.

Comfortable home, beautiful property!

The house was incredibly spacious and comfortable! The property was beautiful and we enjoyed an evening after a long, exhausting day, sitting on the porch listening to the creek. We really enjoyed our stay!

This is a great property for our family. The kids loved playing in the creek and everything inside was clean and comfortable. They have really thought of everything.

Fun in Durango

We (family of 5) had a great time staying at the house on Hermosa Creek. My two granddaughters, age 10 and 7, loved playing on the grounds, jumping over the small brook that ran by the house, and playing in the creek. The house was lovely, comfortable, and well-stocked. The hosts got back to us right away when we had a question and were good about communicating with us about some hiccups that were out of their control (e.g. an internet outage). They also recommended some really good places to eat. We will definitely try to stay there when we go to Durango again and will recommend it to our friends.

perfect retreat

I don't have enough room to write all the good things about this property. The owners went over and above to help with reservations, and the place was everything we had hoped and more. Everything you needed in every area. Kitchen well stocked, grill, brand new everything and clean as could be. Will definitely stay again.

Hermosa Hideaway

This is a great little house that was private, clean and convenient to the valley area. You can see the Durango railroad train from the front door. This place appears to be very new with high ceilings, dimmable LED lighting and a nice convection oven. Also had a grill and outdoor seating area right off the kitchen. well thought out rental with an ensuite bath in the master bedroom. It was a perfect for our family and we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful house by creek

The Paintbrush lane creekside house was awesome. The house was very clean. It has everything you need and more. Especially if you're traveling with kiddos. The creek behind the house was beautiful. We enjoyed listening to the water for hours. Cheryl was very helpful throughout the entire process. We were sad to leave and would 100% come back.

perfectly peaceful location

We enjoyed our stay in CO. This home was perfect for our family. The creek on the property was beautiful and we enjoyed reading in the shade while the children played in the water. There is a babbling brook off the deck where we often ate our dinner and breakfasts. It is a great location out of the city proper, north of Durango but still quick to town for activities or dinner. Quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed taking walks in the evenings. We hiked Ice Lake, rode the Train and visited Mesa Verde. All easy to get to from the property. Cheryl and Russell, thank you for opening your home to us, we enjoyed it!

Superior service

I believe that Cheryl absolutely goes the extra mile to ensure guests feel welcome and experience a wonderful time during their stay.Although my girls and I were not able to enjoy the creek due to unforeseen events. We know that we will want to return to makeup for it, especially since knowing the home is fully equipped and conveniently located in a perfect spot, for a nice family relaxing stay, after scheduled activities and explorations. We will absolutely recommend this Super clean, well organized and spacious home, that also offers perfect parking for more than one vehicle and on top of all that the wonderful sound of the Creek's water flow and perfect picturesque view of sunrise and sundown.Thank you kindly Cheryl and the Raineys for the nice personalized card and wonderful welcome gift at our arrival as well as prompt responses and accommodations where we lacked for nothing making it easy and perfect!
