Two of the bedrooms are large enough to comfortably accommodate provided air mattresses. Large kitchen/dining with a nine foot long gathering table and everything you need except the groceries. There are two outdoor porches for porch sitting and train spotting and a fully fenced yard for the dogs to enjoy with you. .
Enjoy the train spotting, wave to the Amtrak passengers (they'll wave back), and snap a pic of the most impressive train graffiti you see. This small town "life on the tracks" part of your experience is something you will cherish and remember always.
This property was super clean, had comfy furnishings and a great location next to church (loved the bells). The beds were very comfortable. We loved the side porch.
We had a wonderful stay here. Ashley was nice and the check-in and out directions were easily followed. The house is really nice, bigger than we expected and we felt at home.
Grass should have been cut, yard looks bad, kitchen floor bad condition, front bathtub faucet needs replacing it never worked properly. Roku tv not easy to use , no local tv stations.
Not aware that the train ran through between 2:30 and 4:00 AM.
Location to town and activityâs great.
Not all electrical outlets worked
We would return, I think the owners are on the right track
The house itself was beautiful. However, we were unaware the train tracks were that close to the house. There was barely any room to get out of the driveway before hitting the operational railroad, which has a train come by every four or so hours. The tracks are so close that the passing train shakes the house and wakes the whole neighborhood. It is so close to the front yard that I would not let the child accompanying us play outside.
The refrigerator was not cleaned before our arrival which included two cartons of previously cracked eggs and other sticky goop.
The host let us know in advance they were having troubles with the lock and were very responsive when we could not initially get into the house.
The house would be perfect in a different location.
This house is full of charm and it was perfect for our stay. Itâs very spacious! huge kitchen area, very clean, great place to stay! Would def book here again.
