Host was nice and welcoming. The interior was clean and decorated well. We would consider this a two-bedroom rental rather than three because the upstairs bedroom was too uncomfortable to use. There were enough other annoyances with the house that we were left uninterested in renting it again and unable to recommend to friends or family, although the host should be able to fix most of those issues.

It was a very charming older home nestled in an extremely quiet, cozy neighborhood, which gave it a warm and inviting atmosphere. The house was overly furnished with a variety of tasteful, well-chosen decor pieces, making it feel homely and comfortable. It was also highly pet-friendly, with even our dog thoroughly enjoying the space. The kitchen was a highlight — fully equipped with all the supplies needed for cooking, including utensils, pots, pans and dishes making it easy for us to prepare meals just like at home. Everything we needed was provided, which made our stay very convenient. During our visit, we had one minor mishap. We reached out to Jeff and Dawn on Vrbo, and they responded almost instantly — within seconds — and took care of the issue. The neighborhood was super nice, super inviting, and very friendly, with welcoming neighbors and peaceful surroundings. If we’re ever in town again to visit family, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, as it truly felt like a home away from home.

The property was good. There were blankets, pillows, towels and a fully stocked kitchen. Everything was good. Obviously the photos are slightly older than what the property is now so everything looks a tiny bit nicer but other than that, the property was really nice. At the property, the owner posted two cell phone numbers to message but when contacting them, they spoke almost explicitly through the app so that was a tad bit confusing for a first time client but other than that no issues at all.

Another great stay!

We have stayed at this property before, and, once again, were very satisfied. The fenced in yard was perfect for our fur baby. Pendleton is a great little town with goid restaurants, nice shops, and a beautiful park.

Great stay

The house and property were perfect for our stay. We chose this property because they were pet friendly, and our dog enjoyed the fenced in area. Pendleton is a lovely town - restaurants, shops, beautiful park - plus it's close to Indianapolis. Will definitely stay here again.

Great little town

This residence had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Appreciated the ability to travel with our dogs and have a fenced backyard. Cute town and great place to walk dogs!

Enjoyable Stay

Our bridal party had an enjoyable stay here with plenty of space and amenities! We enjoyed the outdoor patio and the variety of sleeping arrangements the house has to offer. It's conveniently close to the shops and restaraunts of downtown Pendleton which suited our needs well. I would recommend this space to anyone needing to stay in the area!

When we first walked in, it smelled very musty. Then we got used to it, but the clothes that I hung in the master closet smelled like that as they still do the day after we got home!

Small Town Charm

Relaxing Stay

We loved our stay at the Brass Elephant. The home was clean, the kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. The front porch was a favorite of our family and the neighborhood was also very nice. We walked to downtown Pendleton and enjoyed a cup of coffee at Falls Perk Coffee House. Hoping to return again soon!

In town for Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis

Ourstay was lovely. The house and the neighborhood was beautiful. Dawn was awesome and helping us with a little issues. We left the coffee pot on, and I was thoroughly satisfied with our stay at their home.

Had everthing you'd need. was great for two of us plus accommodated a few days with 6, plenty of spaces to enjoy each other. Host was easy to work with. Rules were clear and not a burden to figure out. Great Stay.

Family wedding in area

It met all of our needs when we visited the area to attend our Grandson’s wedding. The fenced in yard was a treat from our small dog. Loved the shaded back deck for relaxing out doors. Will use again when we are in the area.
