We loved our first visit to San Marco! Angie was very responsive to all our basic questions which we really appreciated! The unit was clean and very comfortable. We loved the comfy beds and updated kitchen and bathroom. We will definitely be back!
House worked out great for our stay. It was equipped with everything we needed and was walking distance to several restaurants. The neighborhood is centrally located in Jacksonville making it convenient to many areas. We would definitely stay here again.
A very unassuming property from the outside, but entirely pleasant inside. Simple, contemporary, unassuming. A record player that worked:) Nice location, between the active San Marco restaurant district and the South Waterfront. Third property we stayed in on our trip, and our favorite.
The apartment was spacious, clean and close to a favorite restaurant- European Street- so that was great. Unfortunately it rained the entire 4 nights I was there, the city was trying to improve drainage so construction detours almost blocked me out once, and parking on the street resulted in my car being flooded and hit by someone backing up! Fortunately, I was able to get approval to part in the back. There is a front grassy area that would make an ideal parking space with little effort. I was dismayed there was no W/D but that was my error to not notice (I was drenched by rain and a dryer would have been good) - also couldnât find the iron, but it was in the one unlocked utility closet! Again, my error- but the host was relatively easy to reach with questions. For the cost, I probably wouldnât stay at this apartment again, but thatâs just me.
The property was very clean and comfortable inside. The location is on the north side of San Marco, neighborhood appears to be blue collar and quiet, walkable to San Marco shops. We arrived late at night and had a hard time figuring out which door to enter throughâŠso you know, it is the door on the right! All essentials were provided, very pleased and fairly priced too.
We enjoyed our time in Jax and were overall pretty happy with this spacious historic rental! Just a few things to note- the bathroom was not the cleanest. I would highly suggest to change out both of the shower curtains, as they are stained, torn, and have questionable brown substance on the decorative shower curtain. Would have loved to have shelving of some sort in the shower to put all of our things on. The windows let in any sound from outside, which wasnât an issue at night, but just something to be aware of if you need to sleep during the day. Otherwise, we had a great time!
This unit is really great, very well appointed and clean. Nice location, very convenient In San Marco. Pictures accurately depict the unit.
My only negative comment would be to be aware of the location based on the VRBO map. This is NOT on the water nor is it adjacent to a great little park, both of which are suggested by the location on the map. We picked this place based quite a bit on those two assumptions. I know that the exact location will never be shared before booking, but VRBO should NEVER make it look like a unit is waterfront when it is not even close. Having said that, the actual location is perfect if you are looking to be in the heart of San Marco. We would definitely stay there again.
Stayed at this property for a girls trip and it was perfect! Comfortable and clean. Plenty of space for 3 ladies. Great location for Vy star arena and everything else in that area. We walked to restaurants and bars the next day. It had all the creature comforts and more!
