One of the best VRBO experiences ever. It was clean, A/C on already, ice cubes in freezer, comfy beds, etc. walking distance to the top of Main Street, just make sure you can walk up and down Hill. Very impressed and will definitely stay here again.
This property has all the charm that you expect in a historic home. We loved it! Perfect for what you want in Eureka. There are some steps to get into the property, and the home is on a steep hill, but that's also part of the charm of this great town. There is convenient parking right in front of the house and the location is great. Owner was very responsive. We would definitely stay again.
The property was very quaint and cozy for my mother, daughter and myself. Check-in was very simple and our host communicated efficiently and effectively. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
Location was great, pretty good communication with host, esp. with the dangerous storms. the shower curtain was disgusting with some kind of mold or stain on it. saw a very big cockroach in the kitchen and there were several spiders and bugs in the house. and, the freezer did work very well, but the refrigerator was not cold, even on the average setting. i would set the setting on the coldest, and it still wouldn't get cold, so the fridge needs fixed.
Aspen was very prompt in her responses and answered our questions. The place was so charming, great kitchen! Everything worked and we were comfortable. It was so close to downtown we were able to walk to everything!
House was lovely. Communication was perfect. If you have trouble with stairs be careful as yhe steps are steep. We really enjoyed this houseT and would definitely stay there again. The location was close to downtown!! Steep hill walking back up but so close and great house
We enjoyed the quaintness of the property and its excellent location. Also wonderful neighbors. However, the supplies in the kitchen left something to be desired. Some things that could have been supplied were salt & pepper, zip lock bags, tin foil, Saran Wrap, better instructions for the dishwasher (there is no play button) and more toilet paper in the bathroom. The outside could have been cleaned up for guests arrival. I would have blown off the furniture, the patio areas and wiped everything down so it felt welcoming to us and was a clean area for our home for 4 days.
The house is really cute, and the location is great. Itâs easily walkable to anywhere downtown - particularly to our favorite spots, including So Good, Mojos. There was good communication with the host, and instructions for check in and out where clear (other than that the check in instructions didnât make clear that the key is kept in a lock box hanging on the porch, which took a couple of minutes to realize and locate). On the flip side, the beds were a little hard and uncomfortable. The bedroom curtains are also very thin, and did not block out the very bright lights from the street lamps and neighboring porches. The host is also unnecessarily stingy on some basic supplies. For a 5 day stay, we were only allowed 2 trash bags. This would have been fine, except that there is no garbage disposal or compost bin, and the trash can doesnât have a lid. We cooked all but 1 meal at the house. This attracted fruit fruit flies after just a couple of days and made the house smell unpleasant. They also do not provide a sponge to wash dishes or clean up, and only provide 2 paper towel rolls. We were also only given 4 towels (with 3 people staying for 5 days in the summer). After communicating with the host several times, with a reminder that we had 3 people, they brought 2 more towels. Overall a good experience but would not be my first choice for a trip planned around lake time and hiking. Would be a good place to stay 1-2 nights for downtown events.
Loved staying in this super cute cottage in Eureka Springs. The cottage was clean upon arrival. The location was perfect. We were only a block from the shops, an amazing coffee shop and another wonderful restaurant. The cottage though was removed from downtown so it was quiet. The rooms were a great size for us (my husband and I). The bathroom had an amazing tub. The jets in the tub were strong and worked well. I hope we can come back sometime and stay in this wonderful cottage again.
We loved this house so much that we wished we lived in it. The neighborhood was calm and quiet, and the house was very clean. Itâs clearly well loved. Great energy, as well.
My husband, myself, and two kiddos (3 and 5) stayed in this home while we explored Eureka Springs and surrounding areas. We loved the nearby restaurants and walking around! There's a playground that's about a 15 min walk away and the restaurants/shops are a few mins away. Great house and we enjoyed our stay!
The property met our expectations exceptFor the kitchen. It was poorly equipped as far as dishes, eating utensils & cook ware. Also the microwave was at such an elevated position it was impossible to use.
Great location for being able to walk into town, walk back is a little steep but to be expected in Eureka. The house was awesome and would definitely stay there again.
This was the first Christmas since my husband passed and my son and I knew we wanted to be someplace new. Cricket Cottage was the perfect place. The rooms were cute and cozy. We hopefully will return this fall. The location to downtown was perfect. We could walk everywhere.
