This is a very comfy home made available for you to stay and relax! We have a nice fire place in the living room and a relaxing room with books for reading and a charcoal grill on patio out back.
There are many adventurous things to do nearby. We are located in Amish country where there is always a lot going on and just minutes from the Michiana Event Center. Blue Gate Theater and Shipshewana Flee Market is nearby. There are many lakes near by and access to Kayaking down the pigeon river all this and more within 15 minutes.
Heron Creek Gulf Course Is right down the road and right next to it is a private little get away called "The Hideaway" 260-350-9066 They have cabins in the woods that may be available as well!

Emma’s Place

We are a group of 4 mature women who get together a few times a year to sit around and do our crafting (cross stitch, sewing and knitting). Emma’s Place is perfect for us! 4 bedrooms, a full kitchen to cook in and a nice quiet neighborhood. This was our 2nd stay-and we will return!

Perfect!

For six guys from Ontario Canada on a road trip to see Notre Dame football, this was a great stop. The host was accessible and helpful. The house was large and clean. The location was a short walk to restaurants. It was perfect for us!

Very attentive owners

Emma's Place was the perfect location for a girls weekend! The owners were very attentive to our needs, and the house is simply charming. Would definitely stay again, and highly recommend to others!

Annual Family Reunion

This is the second time we have stayed at Emma's place and we continue to enjoy it! We appreciate the location, cleanliness, and overall communication and professionalism from the Hosts. The kids especially loved the toys and books! The porch swing was a great place to watch the morning thunderstorm with a cup of coffee. Can't wait to stay again next year!

Girls getaway

Overnight stay to be able to attend Ship Chic in Shipshewana. Needed a place with 4 bedrooms for 4 adult females. Emma’s place fit the bill. Great communication, adorable house. Only issue was garage next door had roofers starting at 7:30 am and property owner has no control over that. We’re hoping to travel up that way again and would love to have a repeat stay at Emma’s Place

Country Music Shenanigans

We had a girls weekend away to enjoy some country music in Shipshewana and celebrate St. Patty’s Day in Legrange. The house was roomy, comfortable, beautiful, and well stocked for all that we needed. The location was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for anything better!

Great place

We stayed at Emma's place and it was a perfect getaway for my family. We ate and drank and laughed and enjoyed each other's company at the roomy kitchen table. The place is spotless and I know as I did my PT on the floor each day. The only reason I did not give this a 5 star rating is that it was adverised with a hot tub. There is no hot tub.

Nice place

Nice place, clean and comfortable. Beds are comfortable. Would suggest with limited seating in living room, how about a TV in the bedroom. Also, a shelf in the small bathroom would be nice.

Nice place to stay. Will stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and everything looked nice. We only had a little issue with the oven not being cleaned and it smoked up the house a bit but the host apologized. It has plenty of space for several people. We plan to stay again.

Notre Dame weekend

We stayed here to attend a Notre Dame game and spend time on campus. It is a great house and neighborhood and the owner was very helpful. We had great meals at local restaurants too!!

Friends trip

This was my 2nd time staying at this property and I would return again. The owners are very responsive and the home is supplied with anything you may need including items for the backyard (lawn chairs/picnic table/grill and firewood). We were near walking trails did some kayaking and it was my first time attending the flea market. Love staying here and plan on returning ----- THANKS EMMA

One night in LaGrange

Lots to like about this property, but a few minor tweaks would make it great! The 1/2 bath needs some sort of warning about the ceiling height. The table in the kitchen needs to have 2 more seats - the 7 of us couldn't sit down to a meal together. And the kitchen is very sparsely equipped. Coffee cups all need some bleach. And the owner's request to sweep all the floors when paying a cleaning fee is not typical.

Great place to stay!

The property was clean and well stocked. The neighborhood was quiet and the property was easy to find. There was a slight miscommunication at check in, but our host responded quickly and it was easily resolved. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others.
