Very nice room. It was exactly what we wanted. Such a cute place and in a great location. Loved having coffee in the morning at the dock-so peaceful and just a short walk to the beach! Our hosts were absolutely the best! Would definitely stay here again! Thanks for such a wonderful experience.

Treaure Island treasure!

Nice property just as advertised. Able to check in early, good communications. Good to have beach chairs, towels and other items. Nice heated pool and waterfront. Great location, close to beach and restaurants.

Love the Malyn!

This is a cute little gem in Treasure Island. Property is clean and landscaping is pretty. My husband loved the salt water pool. Condo owners are very nice. Would visit again!

We had an issue the First night, but it was corrected. We enjoyed the property. It was very clean and friendly and in a great location. The manager and his wife were extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely return.

Big efficiency apartment!

Full kitchen. Big bathroom. Big bed and daybed. Table with 2 comfortable chairs. Not a small place at all. Floor space to spare. The room is really nicely decorated too. The pool at the Maylyn is nice and fenced. The dock and water area is well maintained. Others had boats there for the weekend. Easy walking to beach, shops and restaurants. Planning on staying here again.

Overall, Malyn Resort is a cute, affordable place to spend a few nights by the water. The location is hard to beat—everything is within walking distance, including the beach, restaurants, coffee shops, and other local attractions. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing, but still has a fun beach-town vibe. The locals and management were friendly and welcoming. We loved that it was pet-friendly, and they were very accommodating of our dog. The itself was updated, and the bed was very comfortable. We also loved that they provided beach chairs, an umbrella, a wagon, and beach toys, which made our beach days much easier. The pool was nice, and the dock was a great place to watch the sunset.Most of my concerns were with the room itself. Based on the photos, I thought the bed was in a separate bedroom, so I was surprised to find it was actually a studio. That may have been my misunderstanding of the listing, but since we were traveling with a toddler, it would have been nice to have a separate space so we could watch TV after she went to sleep.The air conditioner is a newer wall unit, but its placement doesn't cool the room very well. Even with the ceiling fan and a floor fan running, the room stayed warmer than we would have liked. The bathroom also doesn't have an exhaust fan, so we had to open the window while showering, which made the room even hotter and made it more difficult to cool down. Also, a maintenance person came to fix the sticking door. A little inconvenient.

Unfortunately, we have to work around the repair technician's availability, and that was the earliest opportunity to have the issue addressed. This very unit is directly under 2 huge A/C units on roof causing a very loud roar and vibrations throughout the entire small unit, all day and most of night. The units operate the entire building and they are directly over this rental units bed. The entry door was off the hinges and striped screws with cardboard in holes. We Injured arm after wrestling with a steel door jammed every time we went through it!! A fraudulent explanation /excuse was given before arriving to to rental about climate bring the cause of the door rubbing problem. We sure found out what she meant!Complaining caused host to disappear on us!! Quit all communication..Other than these 3 important negative facts, it is a cute little place in a nice area.Keith and Laurie

Disappointting

I paid for a one bedroom unit. I got a studio. There was no soap. No washrags. Air conditioning Didn’t work properly cause it needed a new filter. Refrigeration made a terribly loudly noise There was no trolley as I was told. Management was short with me and said take it up with VRBO. As it turned out. The property owners came in the same time of my stay and took the waterfront view one bedroom condo that I paid for. I have the text message from the owner as proof. I would like some compensation please

Unfortunately, this review is completely false and misleading. When Karen booked her reservation in March, we didn’t own a waterfront, one bedroom condo. We did acquire one late April. When we had VRBO integrate with Hostaway, VRBO sent the wrong property ID’s for integration, and flip flopped the units, so when Karen started receiving emails closer to check in time, she received emails indicating she would be checking into the 1bdrm waterfront unit. We’ve sent screenshots of texts, communication with VRBO and with Karen but the review remains. If we could add pics/screen shots to the review it would be very evident that this review is completely false.
