This custom home sleeps 14 and is nestled on 50 acres of rolling countryside. It is perfectly located within minutes of the area’s most popular wineries and hiking trails. The lovely town of Dahlonega is only 15 minutes away.

This is the perfect setting for your micro event, family gathering, wedding party, friends reunion or company retreat. There are three bedrooms in the main home and two additional sleeping areas in the carriage house. These areas are connected by a covered breezeway with outdoor fireplace and luxurious seating to enjoy the mountain views with your morning coffee or evening cocktail. You will not want to leave!

Groups will love gathering in the fully equipped kitchen furnished with stainless steel appliances, a huge quartz island, all the necessary cooking essentials and beautiful pecky cypress accents. The carriage house apartment has a fridge, microwave, sink and induction cooktop.

It is hard to pick a favorite bedroom. Each is beautifully decorated and they all offer amazing mountain views.

Every space has been designed with the intent of providing beautiful, comfortable gathering spaces. There are plenty of areas to escape for a little peace and quiet as well.

There is no end to the activities within close reach: wine hopping, hiking, shopping, restaurants, fishing, rafting. We are so happy to host you and strive to make this one of your best stays ever! Pictures cannot fully capture the magic of this place. Come see for yourself!

Events will be reserved only as an add-on to a 2 night minimum stay at The Nest at Cardinal Hill.

Event fee is charged if attendees exceed 14.

Booking fee and deposit is 100% refundable up to 9 months prior to the event, 50% refundable up to 6 months before the event and nonrefundable thereafter.

Maximum event head count is 50; maximum overnight occupancy in the residence is 14.

Guest is required to carry a $1 million event policy. These policies are easily obtained online through:

There are no DJ’s or live music allowed; recorded music is allowed provided that the volume does not disturb neighboring properties; quiet hours are 10pm-8am.

Cars will need to park in designated parking areas. All trash needs to be contained in bags and placed in the designated trash area, not inside the home.

All outside vendor information needs to be provided to Cardinal Hill Dahlonega 30 days prior to event; please include company name, contact person and phone number.
