Weekday getaway for some hiking up Grandfather Trail. Cabin was very nice, fire pit, grill and inside jacuzzi were fantastic! Highly recommended if you enjoy being away from it all!
Beautiful area, cabin could use some curtains, more comfortable furniture, better quality bedroom doors, and needs a proper scrub down but this company from what I understand has only recently acquired it so Iâm sure they will fix it up. All questions were answered quickly and other than the minor uncomfortableness of the furniture and not enough of it we had a great stay.
We had a great time staying at the Cub House. We'd definitely stay again. Hot tub was excellent and location, secluded but still a very close drive to Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, etc. The only recommendation I'd make would be a more through cleaning after anyone with pets has stayed to remove dog hair on couch/furniture.
