Beautiful, cozy, spacious cabin in the woods on the beautiful Machikanee Flowage 25 miles from Green Bay. Easy quick drive to Lambeau Filed, 1 mile from snowmobile trails, 4 miles from horseback trails thru Machikanee Forest, and fishing on the flowage. Quiet and cozy
Our stay in Oconto was very good. The cabin is beautiful as well as the surroundings and lake. The beds were comfortable, it was so very quiet and all necessities were furnished. Thank you.
We had a really nice family vacation at this property. Thereâs plenty of room to spread out in the house. Itâs a bit of a hike to get to the dock, but a nice seating area by the water and somewhere to keep your boat is convenient.
If you want to play in/on the water, this is not the spot. A dense copse of trees in a deep ravine blocks any view of water, and a gravel path of 30% grade for about 300 feet on the west border accesses an elevated deck with a dock below
Otherwise, the house is great, access to the highway is great , the area is great.
I love the simplicity of nature. The quiteness of the woods and the sounds of nature. I enjoy the outdoors and nature in its simplicity. If you choose to stay at the cabin you will experience a quiet, relaxing, peaceful stay. Enjoy a glass of wine in front of the fireplace or ice fishing on the river. Either way, whatever you choose to do while you're here you will enjoy yourself I guarantee it.
The cabin is quiet and cozy tucked in the woods on the Machikanee Flowage in Oconto County. You will love this cabin to spend time with your family or friends enjoying the outdoor firepit, cooking on the outdoor brick grill, fishing on the flowage, snowmobiling on the miles of trails through Oconto county, or horseback riding on the trails thru the Machikanee Forest. Or, maybe, just getting away from the city and enjoying the views on the water with a fire in the indoor fireplace. Whatever your reason for time away from home, the cabin is home away from home.
