Enjoy comfortable accommodations featuring a Smart TV, spacious yard, and proximity to CSU. Relax in our private back sitting area, where you can listen to the soothing creek while sipping coffee. Kids will love the large side yard to play in, and pets are welcome for a fee. We provide both professional and real-time images from our cleaning team, ensuring you know exactly what to expect. We can't wait to host you!

The Space:
This home offers a fully appointed kitchen with granite countertops, dining room table, four comfortable bedrooms, a spacious living room with a SmartTV, two-car garage, and a great yard and outdoor space for the family! This home can comfortably accommodate 12 guests with 5 queen beds and a sofa bed!

We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 21 years of age to book.
If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.
We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.

Great home! Our son had a turning green ceremony at Fort Benning, we didn’t want rent hotel rooms so we looked at homes. This one was in our price range. We had a total of 9 people and everyone was comfortable. No complaints whatsoever. If we ever have to go back to Columbus GA, we will surly check to see if this home is available!

This was a great rental, exactly as described in the photos. We were on a team tennis trip, five of us comfortably stayed in the house. It was in a quiet neighborhood, the kitchen had plenty of utensils and a coffee maker. I would recommend this to someone coming to the Columbus area.

Turning Green family weekend

The house was perfect. It allowed all of us to spend time with our soldier in 1 place.

Great place for family

We rented this property to spend time with our son and his wife - both in the Air Force. The house was in a great location to go do things and close to great places to eat. We loved the layout of the house. We had a really good time, hated to leave.

Family trip to visit FT Moore soldier

Nice layout to house. We could hang out together or have privacy. Yard was nice for games and grilling out. Close to lots of restaurants and shopping. Great stay!

Advertisement large yard. Yard was very small. Appliances and utensils definitely seemed like someone's leftovers. Just a couple rolls of toilet paper. Bathtub did not work properly. I messaged owner with no response. No hot water for first day and a half. Did message owner and they sent someone out. However they had to replace hot water heater which took until after 5 pm on second day. Owner offered 30% of one days stay in refund. Still have not seen that come through.

Deep clean needed

The house is lovely but in need of a deep clean. The floors and bathrooms had not been cleaned when we arrived. After some back and forth and threatening to leave a bad review they did send someone out to clean.

OK for the price

The house was clean and functional, but lacked in small details that shouldn't exist. Very unlevel curtain rods, windows with sheer curtains, but no blinds for privacy, single ply toilet paper in one bathroom, an inch wide gap between 2 floor planks in the middle of the hall, and full size sheets on a queen size bed.

We never got to stay at this property

Don't know exactly why we are being asked to review-- we never got to stay at this property. We were moved to a different property because the people in this property extended their stay. The property we were offered was not comparable, and we wound up leaving after 1 hour because we smelled mold/mildew. We paid in full, no refund. And then had to pay for another property that we actually stayed at.

First time having to give a negative review

Never have I had to do this. This house was description was false. Do not trust the pictures or description. Where to even begin…. The kitchen was not updated with modern appliances. The dishwasher would not work, the appliances were dirty. There were literally four forks only in the drawer. We had to go buy extra bowls for mixing and cooking. There was no back yard. Only a side strip. The back of the house was a pit ip with small strip of brush and dangerous drop of to a non moving dirty creek. There were beer bottles and trash back there. The grills were not usable and nasty. The chairs on the back patio were moldy. This is not all! You could not stand on the front or back yard long without ants biting you. There were ants crawling on the wall in two of the bedrooms. In one of the bedrooms ants were in the sheets. One of the bedrooms had sheets that were way too large for the bed and would just get balled up. The sheets were scratchy. Some of the towels were dirty and there were not enough. There was no coffee table as picture on the living room. It was broken and stored on the garage. There was no leather couch as pictures. All of the living room furniture had slip covers that would not stay on. One of the couch cushions had a spring that was broken and that part of the couch could not be used. There was no live tv that we could figure out how to use. There were no instructions about anything left in the house. It was the most poorly stocked kitchen I have ever experienced in a rental. There were even bugs on some of the curtains! The vanity in the master bath is not long as pictured. There is hardly any room on it. The walls were stained and dirty. The carpets were dirty. The most uncomfortable and disappointing rental I have ever experienced. These were things that would not have been able to be corrected during our stay. I emailed multiple times before the trip to get our check on information with no response. I had to call and get that the day before. I feel this is false advertising and would not want another military family planning on using this as a gathering place to deal with this house until it is improved.

Thank you for your useful feedback about the property. I believe the pictures accurately represent the rental. I do not see where you contacted us upon check-in to discuss these issues. I would have been happy to address any issues you had. I am so sorry you had such a negative experience, that is definitely not the first impression I want to give any of our guests, I would have absolutely tried to find a resolution for you had you come to me during your stay. I can assure you that this home is on regular pest control. Since this, the home has been cleaned and inspected to exceed company standards. We strive to provide a 5-star experience. If an issue arises during your stay, we are available to remedy the situation. The issue in this review has already been resolved. We look forward to hosting future stays that meet expectations. We hope to get the opportunity to host you again and show you a 5-star experience.

Clean but Need New Sheets

The location was perfect for visiting our daughter at Columbus State University. The house was clean, but we all had issues with the sheets being too small for the bed. The sheets on the master bed had a rip in them, were very rough/thin and were too small for the bed. The other beds in the house also had sheets that were too small; they came off every time we got in the beds. The home was well equipped otherwise, but the beds were quite disappointing.

Last Minute Sibling Stay

We reserved the house two days before arrival and the response from the owner was great. The home is just as pictured without complaint...the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We would stay again if we are in the area and the home is available.

Five stars because..

I typically don't leave a full 5 star review because it can look disingenuous, however - The property was clean, the rental process straightforward. One small issue I had was addressed immediately. These are good, honest people who are offering a fair, honest service. Typically we stay at a large chain, well, we did. When local to Columbus, assuming a property is available, this is where we will stay.

Great for us!

We enjoyed our stay here - except for the Coronavirus, as all trainees were called back to base and not able to stay with us. So, we only enjoyed cooking one meal for him. The kitchen had everything thing we needed for this. It was great having a cup of coffee on the back patio and hearing the peaceful creek. The house was clean with plenty of towels. We liked the fact that the drive to Fort Benning Visitor Center (where we had to check in) was only 13 minutes! Yes, we would rent here again!

Columbus Stay

Good stay except for some cleanliness issues (one bed not made, dirty towels in washer, trash not thrown). Washed sheets and towels ourselves. Enjoyed our time here - would rent again.

Great place to stay

This place was very convenient to the Fort Benning base. We stayed here to attend our Grandson's Turning Green ceremony. It was clean and had everything needed to make us comfortable here.
