Owner was great at communicating. House is great and had everything needed. They even left some snacks which was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend.
I was in the area for work, stayed there. I liked it, would definitely stay there again. Convenient access to anything you need, yet feels like a mountain getaway.
Host was one the best I have experienced in short term rental units. The snacks were great that she left for my family ! Would recommend for ease of access to the Asheville area for sure !
The house was very neat and clean. Exactly as described, charming and cozy, with everything one needs. Communication with owner was great. Can see all kinds of wildlife like white squirrels, deer, etc. Would definitely stay there again.
The house was immaculate! Very clean. Small, yet roomy at the same time. All kitchen utensils were there as well as bathroom supplies. I tried to find something wron but couldn't and this is spoken from someone who has OCD.
We rented this property for 4 adult children/grandchildren to stay over the holidays. It was far cheaper than a hotel and much more comfortable. Such a well thought out/laid out little house, plenty big enough for 4 adults to stay in comfortably. I would absolutely rent this again if needed nd recommend it to others. All my communication with the owner has been prompt and complete with all needed information. GREAT LITTLE PLACE!!!
We had to alter our travel plans and had questions during our stay and the property manager was very nice and responsive. The house was gorgeous with new appliances and lovely furniture/decor. I felt safe with a custom lock code for my stay. They even gave us fritters, bananas, coffee and fresh creamer for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again next year when i come down for a conference.
What a great find. Cozy and fully updated, super clean place, perfect for our family. Location is very convenient to I26 so easy to get to Asheville, Hendersonville and surrounding areas. Tina was very easy to work with and provided clear instructions and quick communication. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for an affordable, convenient option for a small group.
This is probably one of the best little getaways we have ever booked. My wife and The and I are frequent travelers to the Asheville and will either stay in a VRBO or a local hotel. I would say out of the VRBOâs that we had booked, this is the best little cottage we have stayed in. Not only was the location great and quiet, the hospitality of the host has us eager to book another vacation in the area. This little cottage sits about 20 minutes outside of the downtown Asheville area but youâre still close enough to enjoy the area. I will definitely be returning to this little home if it is available the next time we can get away. Donât hesitate to book yourself.
This place was perfect for what we needed it to be. We met to go to the Orchards and explore the area. The place was extremely clean and comfortable. Very updated kitchen and bathroom with anything you can think of that you would need! I would highly recommend this location. However, just a heads up that the road to get to the house is a very bumpy gravel road. If I didn't have an suv I would have not liked to make the drive. Also, the neighborhood felt safe but didn't appear that way at first. The neighbors were having parties and everything except for this delightful home was very worn down.
We had a wonderful stay at this cozy home with our family of threeâmy husband, 13-year-old daughter, and myself. The house was impeccably clean and stocked with everything we needed. Tina, the host, thoughtfully left us delicious pumpkin bread and bananas to enjoy during our stay, which was such a nice touch. The location was perfect for our Labor Day weekend plans, offering easy access to all the attractions we wanted to visit. We were also fascinated by the white squirrels in the area, as we had never seen them before! Despite having nearby neighbors, the area was quiet and serene. Just be mindful that there's a short gravel road leading to the house, though it didnât pose any issue for us. We look forward to returning on our next trip and will definitely recommend this gem to our friends.
We traveled to Hendersonville on a 5 day stay to visit our son and his family. We originally had booked a hotel, but decided to stay here instead. We were very happy we did. We are a couple 67-69. It was nice to have the extra space considering we were here for 4 nights. I cooked breakfast and if we had leftovers (not much) we placed in the fridge and warmed in microwave. The place, as mentioned, was very clean. The lane upon which the home is on is a gravel road. This may be off-putting for some, but we did travel it in the rain on our way into the property. We never had a problem on any drive in or out. We made day trips to Chimney Rock and Black Mountain. Because our son lives here now, we had seen Ashville and Hendersonville. We also did a day trip to Dollywood. We did not need to buy anything for the home except our food to cook. We did not use the washer/dryer. Needless to say, when we come back, we will stay here again.
My wife and I enjoyed our weekend getaway at this property. The property owner responded quickly to all inquiries and provided complimentary coffee, a fruit strudel, and bananas. Kitchen also had a filtered water pitcher. The property was immaculate upon arrival, exactly as seen in the photos. The bed we slept in was very comfortable, and the TVs and good Wifi in each bedroom and the main room were a nice perk. We did notice a slight odor in the hot water from the shower and kitchen (kind of a faint fishy smell; possibly sulfuric). The location is quiet (with minimal road noise), though several neighbors live relatively close to the property. We could hear some music playing from one neighbor's house from about 10p-11p both nights, but it did not disturb us from sleeping. The property is off of a shared gravel road, so some vehicles with low ground clearance may have a bit of a difficult time with the terrain. P.S. The ceiling was a little low (maybe 8 ft). That's for our tall friends out there :) Thank you for the wonderful stay!
We had a great stay in this little house! We came in at night so it was a bit harder to find, but it was cozy and quiet once we found it! Tina was very communicative when I had a small issue with the internet. Will definitely return here!
Place was super cute, perfect for me and my friend for our girls trip! Property Manager was lovely and nice and helped us with our one need immediately! Would recommend and come back!
