We welcome you to come enjoy a weekend away on our beautiful farm! Our spacious guest house is fully furnished and a cozy oasis to enjoy time with your special someone or a girls weekend for tired Mommas to escape and relax. Our farm offers a walking path, fishing, animals for viewing and close to many of the areas attractions. Located in Bear Grass, just outside of Williamston, home of the Eastern Bob Martin Agricultural center and the beautiful Roanoke River, we are only 90 miles from the gorgeous OBX, and less than a half hour journey to historical little Washington and Greenville, the home of the East Carolina Pirates and local area restaurants such as Deadwood and Sunny Side Oyster Bar! Whether you’re looking for a calm relaxed weekend to unplug or a fun adventure in Eastern NC we assure you our farm will not disappoint!

Horse show retreat

Never a disappointment to stay at this wonderful peaceful farm house. Just wish I could spend more time there then We get to do when showing horses at the AG Center!

Peaceful retreat on beautiful farm

Enjoy coming back to the impeccably clean farm house for a restful night sleep after a long day showing horses at the Ag Center in Williamston. Grazing sheep, and muscovy ducks on the property, along with a pond are an added bonus!

Wonderful Farm Stay

I could not have picked a more relaxing place and definitely plan to stay again. The home was clean and had all the items i needed. Being able to walk the property and see farm life was an added bonus. Sitting on the porch at night listening to nature was so peaceful. The hosts were very responsive and made me feel more than welcome.

Worked in the area.

It was so great to come back to this house after working 12-14 hours a day. Just keep in mind the wifi and cell service is almost nonexistent. Still loved the house and the owners were extremely nice. Thank you again for letting us stay in you home!!

Comfort and hospitality is what you will find here. Melinda was a wonderful host. There were farm fresh eggs in the refrigerator along with a couple of fruit cups to munch on

Wonderful ECU family weekend

What a beautiful place to stay while attending the ECU homecoming game with our daughter. A 30 minute drive out into the country, it was perfect for visiting her and enjoying family for the weekend. I enjoyed drinking coffee on the front porch in the morning overlooking the duckpond - it was a peaceful way to start the day. The owner stopped by and couldn’t have been nicer. Thank you for opening your home to us - it was perfect!

Cozy Farm House

Beautiful area away from the city. Quiet with sheep (including babies) grazing across the fence. The farmhouse is beautiful and secluded. Very comfie and cozy with all the amenities. The decor is so pretty and homey. Melinda was amazing. She left us banana nut muffins and fresh eggs from her hens! After she arrived she brought some Kerrygold butter! So sweet, she went above and beyond. Thank you Melinda!

Cozy, quiet, great refuge!

After 2 long days with my daughter competing in a horse show at the Senator Bob Martin Ag Center , this was a very quiet refuge tucked away among the cotton/soy fields. Very nice front screened in porch and back porch with fire pit and back relaxing porch. Mama and baby sheep greeted us in the pasture early both mornings when we left out to head back to the horse show. Melissa checked in on us to make sure all was in working order. Fresh eggs from her farm, coffee, water, muffins and fruit complimentary in the fridge. A very nice personal touch. Home was very clean/fresh linens and towels. We will hope to return on the Spring if this gem is not already taken!!

Wonderful peaceful property

This farmhouse and property were awesome. The farmhouse is cozy, well appointed, and immaculate. The property is lovely. It is set well back off the road, surrounded by farmland, borders a pond, and has sheep frolicking in the adjacent pasture. There are three great spots to sit outside: the screened-in porch, the back deck with dining table, and backyard patio with chairs and fire pit. The owners live nearby and are very nice and friendly.

This property exceeded our expectations on all level!!! We did not want to leave! Melinda, our host, is lovely, kind, responsive, and respectful of our space.. the farm is gorgeous, well groomed and maintained and the animals just made our stay so much better.. five stars is not enough ❤️

Absolutely stay here - a hidden gem

The best VRBO experience we’ve had. A special little farmhouse whether you want a quiet getaway in the country, need to stay in the area, or the perfect layover on the way to OBX (as we did). This home is a charmer with top stylish decor, comfortable beds, and attention to the details. It’s incredibly well stocked with all you need, and Melinda epitomizes hospitality. The serene setting and lovely farm views make for a relaxing stay. We’ll find a reason to return.
