The house was very unique and beautiful. The location was good, off a somewhat busy highway but did not hear the traffic much unless windows were open. Very spacious and well laid out. Interior is beautiful. Will definitely stay again in the future.
Very conveint location for trail riding. Close to deadwood and lead. Friendly neighbors. Grocery, fuel and car wash close by. Great options for meals in the vicinity. Beds were excellent! Kitchen amenities were complete and clean. Well insulated against noise from out side and covacationers. Lots of room for a group. Large counter areas for prep and lots of chairs for sharing a meal. Great parking for getting vehicles out of the weather. Will book this again!!
Kitchen has two big islands so there is plenty of counter space for cooking and gathering. The day we we're leaving we decided to cook breakfast and the stove didn't work. That was disappointing.
Two of the rooms have bathrooms. One room has two showers & a double sink with a large mirror. The other room has a small mirror with a bathtub & hand held shower head. The other 2 bedrooms don't have bathrooms but can use the third bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink and washer and dryer.
Living room was large with a sectional and TV. Very cozy! There is a wrap around deck that goes from the living room to the bedroom with the bathtub.
Overall the place was clean and well kept, however, the water had an overwhelming smell of eggs! The lighting was a little confusing to figure out which switch went to which light.
Tips: The egg smell of the water made it difficult to bathe and wasn't very drinkable. Adding a mirror to the third bathroom would be easier for more people to get ready. My bedroom was the master bedroom with the bathtub & there was no counter in front of the mirror so I brought in 3 stools from the kitchen & that helped a lot with me getting ready for Deadweird đ»
Born and Raised In Montana, moved to North Dakota to play college football, and met my wonderful wife so it became our new home. We love coming down to the black hills with our family and friends!
Fun fact, we were married in Spearfish, so the hills have a special place in our heart.
