Our 2 2-bedroom condo throws it down when it comes to alpine amenities! Two queen bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a dining room, and a full kitchen check off those cabin-comfort relaxation boxes. The scenery from the second floor is one for postcards, and resident elk often cross your view as if to congratulate you on your choice of digs. Come see why our porches are perches for adventure!
I am sure the unit would have been lovely had we not been forced to cancel our stay. We live just 2 hours away from Estes Park and followed the news closely when we learned that there were several fires burning south and east of Estes Park. All the major roads into and out of town were closed off except for evacuation vehicles. The event we had planned our trip around was canceled. I reached out to the property manager and the owner requesting a reschedule but never got a response. At the time I felt that they should have pro-actively contacted me since it was impossible for me to access the unit. They have not. We paid all fees, including cleaning, in advance. No refunds or reschedules are being offered.
We visited during July and Colorado was experiencing extreme heat even in the mountains. We got to the room and it was close to 90 degrees in the condo. We called down to have maintenance look at the A/C but they were unable to fix the issue. I found out the next day that the A/C never works in the condo even though it is listed as having A/C. One of the windows in the 2nd bedroom was missing the crank and wouldnât open and there were supposed to be multiple fans in the condo but there was only one in the main bedroom to use. I wouldnât have booked a room with no A/C in July and the posting is misleading. We were not offered any sort of apology or compensation and honestly none of us slept that night due to the heat. If you visit during the winter time then this place would work but donât bother during the summer months.
