The location of this cottage in South Nags Head makes it easy to relax in the peaceful and natural surroundings, grab some food from Nags Head's renowned restaurants, or pick up a souvenir from a local retailer! You're just a short drive away from great restaurants, historic sites, and other local attractions. Less than 3 miles down the road, be sure to visit the Bodie Island Lighthouse and climb to the top for a 360-degree view of the surrounding sound and marshland. Take the Herbert C. Bonner Bridge over Oregon Inlet and spend the day exploring Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge on nearby Hatteras Island or rent a charter out of Oregon Inlet and spend the day on the water trying to reel in the big one. If you prefer to stay on land, try visiting the nearby Outer Banks Fishing Pier where after casting out a line, you can stop in the pier's restaurant—Fish Heads—to sample fresh, local seafood or enjoy a cold drink and live entertainment after dinner.
