This home is minutes from LSSU & downtown, where you will find many of the main attractions the Sault has to offer... Such as the Soo Locks.
This was a very cozy place to stay. Close to downtown, the locks, and the collage. We stayed here for my daughterâs graduation, which was perfect for having her over for dinner.
This property is very cozy! It reminded us of our first house. Small, but well laid out. It is close to town, but in a nice quiet neighborhood. It was great having a wash machine & dryer.
The rooms were nice and clean!
House was perfect for our stay. Had every thing we would need. Parking is a bit tight but manageable even with a bass boat. Only thing I would recommend is that if someone is staying on the pull out couch bring an extra pad or thick blanket as itâs not the most comfortable, other than that excellent place to stay that is close to town.
The host was very responsive, the home was clean and well taken care of! When I spoke to the host a month before our arrival, she said the dog fence likely wouldnât be up, but when we got there it was up! SO helpful since we have 2 big dogs, was so easy to just let them go outside. We absolutely loved our stay for our first trip to SSM, would definitely book again! Only downside is limited parking - but we only had the one vehicle so it was no issue for us!
Property was a little hard to find. Google Maps doesn't take you to the correct address and it was hard to find in the dark. No lights on the outside of the house. Easy to get in and it was exactly what we were expecting. VERY CLEAN!!! Just a couple of things that it could use: washC
This is a very nice, clean home. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were more than sufficient. Unfortunately the neighbor put a damper on our stay. At the last minute we had additional family members join us. That meant the one bedroom would not be sufficient. However the property owner was kind enough to let us all stay. We bought a tent and an air mattress and set it up in the backyard. The neighbor would not leave us alone. He saw us as his new best friends and repeatedly came to us when we were outside. He wanted to share his life story with us. I am a very friendly and welcoming person. We were kind to the neighbor every time he approached us. However, the stories he was sharing were not appropriate in front of our grand children. He did not seem to sleep either his children were on the trampoline until 3 AM and he was in his garage until the sun came up. As my daughter and I lay in the tent on the air mattress trying to sleep it was definitely a struggle. With him always being outside we were not able to have a fire in the backyard without him trying to join us. It was another unfortunate thing because the host had left a very nice fire pit along with the table and chairs outside for us. So while the host did their best to be hospitable and give us all of the amenities anybody would require, using the backyard portion of the home to have a bonfire and be social with my family was not an option. Great place if you donât need the backyard.

This property was recently renovated while keeping the charm of its 1906 build details. This property has updated amenities like a soaker tub and refurbished floors, but also has the unique quirks of old Sault Ste. Marie homes.
