Patio Suite at Henry House Stays

A stay filled with character and old-world charm. The Patio Suite has its own side entrance and a private courtyard with seating, made for a morning coffee or a glass of wine after the show. Inside, stained glass colours the light in the sitting room, and the wood framed queen bed waits beneath layers of soft linens. Designed for guests who seek a theatrical experience.

THE SUITE
• Queen wood-framed bed dressed in fresh linens and piled with pillows. A thoughtfully stocked closet (hanging space, luggage rack, iron, heater/fan, and extra bedding for the way you actually sleep).
• A stunning sitting room with stained glass details. The suite`s quiet showpiece, beautiful at every hour but especially at golden hour. The kitchenette is tucked nearby with a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig Coffee, kettle, and dishes for two.
• Access to a private patio with seating surrounded with potted greenery. Your own small courtyard for morning light, late night conversations, or a glass of something good after the show.
• Full ensuite bath with a deep tub, shower, plush towels, and considered toiletries. Draw a bath. Melt the day away.
• Entertainment: 4K Smart TV with cable with streaming accounts included (Netflix & Paramount+). Fiber-fast WiFi.
• Comfort: Central heat and AC. Self check-in by smart lock.

Henry House sits inside a five-minute stroll circle of nearly everything that makes Stratford, Stratford. The Tom Patterson Theatre is one minute away. Cozy, comfortable and close to everything

Our stay at Henry House was fantastic! The room was cozy and comfortable, and the location provided close access to restaurants, shops and green spaces. Will definitely plan on returning to Henry House in the near future.

Our room was cozy and nicely decorated. The location can’t be beat, as it is next door to Tom Patterson Theatre, close walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. The check in and out process was easy. We have already decided this will be our place to stay for future visits to Stratford.

We had a wonderful stay at Henry House. Brett gave us loads of information prior to our arrival regarding the property, including a short video tour, as well as suggestions about restaurants and activities in Stratford. The location is amazing, literally across the street from the Tom Patterson theater and just a short walk to the main part of town. The house was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. No criticism whatsoever from us, we feel lucky to have discovered it and hope to return.

Location, location, location

My beautiful wife and I came to Stratford to see some theatre…and we *did*. We chose the Henry House property because of the proximity to both downtown Stratford and the theatres. Perfect location, housing and owner communication from Brett. We’re already taking about staying here in 2025…

The host was phenomenal! He regularly kept me updated on things to see and do (with links) well before my trip. That really helped in laying out an itinerary. He was most accommodating when I requested a slightly later check-out, which might not always be possible if one guest is coming right on the heels of another.The location was perfect! It's literally across the street from the beautiful riverfront walkway that leads downriver to the Shakespearean Garden, and upriver to the Festival Theatre (and beyond). The downtown shops (loved Gallery Indigena for Inuit carvings) and restaurants are two blocks away on Ontario Street, and two more to Downie. For dining I really enjoyed The Bijou at the Church, Bluebird, Pazzo Pizzeria, and The Prune. The large Festival Theatre is about a 15-20 minute walk along the river (and the Art in the Park art sale is on the way). The smaller Avon Theatre is about a 10 minute walk on Downie Street. The Tom Patterson Theatre is just around the corner from the Henry House.The Patio Suite which I stayed in was very nice, with a sun room (love seat, table & chairs, and mini-fridge), bedroom, bath, and a perfect little patio where I had my coffee (from Balzac's, two blocks away) and let my dog watch the passers-by.There's much to do that I didn't get to. The plays at the Festival were outstanding. I'm looking forward to returning next year.
