We love this property because it's quiet and off the beaten path yet very close to the action of all local attractions. This studio setup is perfect for a group of four looking to escape the busy city life. Crystal clear Lake Superior, and downtown Bayfield, are less than five minutes away with unforgettable Bayfield views and local shops, nearby orchards and berry farms, Apostle Highlands Golf Course (with incredible vast views of the Apostle Islands speckling Lake Superior), the Howl (Outdoor Outfitters Store with bike/e-bike rentals and brewery on site), and the clearest night skies you could ask for.

This space is incredibly cozy and comfortable with an adorable kitchenette ready for any small cooktop meal desires. It also provides comfortable nooks for reading, games, and simply catching up on well deserved rest. Snuggle up by the gas fireplace to nip the chill or visit the small patio and covered porch areas for even more visiting and reminiscing options.

Perfectly appointed and wonderfully located!

The owners of this Airbnb thought of everything for our stay in Bayfield. This is nicely appointed and it had everything we could possibly need or want. Right down to a gift certificate to the local coffee shop and homemade dog biscuits for our pup. It’s located just a short five minutes from downtown Bayfield in a really nice quiet location. Loved every moment of our stay!

This is a beautiful and thoughtfully designed space in an excellent location. Beds are comfy and kitchen is well stocked. We appreciated the kind extras like a gift card to the nearby brewery and gift bags for our kiddos. Our only issue is that the brightness of the space made bedtime challenging for little ones. Some curtains would help provide darkness when needed.

Best aBnB/Vrbo experience so far, everything was immaculate, and all the little touches made it better than a hotel; sun screen, bug repellent, dog bowl, dog treats, coffee shop gift card, and many other touches provided by host. On,h thing that could have been better was a fullsize frig.

We enjoyed our weeklong stay at "Goodnight Irene" -- an expansive space with cozy nooks to read book, play a game, have a snack. Contemporary cabin vibe with fun touches. Perfect for a couples get away -- good also if you have a small child or two. Two queen beds and a daybed -- all in the same sleeping space. Pet friendly. Two small, under-counter fridges, and a counter-top ice maker. Two-burner stove, but no oven. The only VRBO I've ever encountered with a stocked candy machine! (Free!)

Amazing stay

Good Night Irene is a perfect space for a family vacation. Quiet, clean and located minutes from downtown Bayfield and the golf course. Easy access to hop in car and explore all the small towns nearby. Less than 30 minutes from Meyer’s Beach. Patio was perfect for an evening fire and view of the stars. Beds were comfortable, enough space in the fridge for leftovers and some basics like milk, eggs, butter. We ate out for most meals and enjoyed morning coffee at the adventure center 1 min away. All of the finishing touches, including fresh flowers throughout the space were above and beyond.

Great retreat and very kind host

Located in a very quiet neighborhood. Bayfield and beaches are easily accessible. The hosts, Rich and Marian are two very kind people who went above and beyond to make my family feel comfortable. All this made for a very quiet and relaxing vacation!!

A comfortable getaway near Lake Superior

We loved Good Night Irene! We were grateful we could bring our dog and there was plenty of yard space to play ball. It's a great location for exploring the area with lots of outdoor activities. It's a clean, cozy rental with lots of charm inside and a space for sitting outside. The hosts are very thoughtful and welcoming. We hope to return!

Relaxing and Cozy

This is such an adorable cottage just outside of Bayfield. The decor is fabulous and comfortable. We loved the Poochie's Porch to drink coffee and read books. Very easy interaction with owners. They were prompt with texts and thoughfully checked in with us. Higly recommend!

What a wonderful property!! This house was so cute, extremely clean, and it’s in the best location!! The owners have thought of everything!! They even left treats for my dog :) All the little special touches went above and beyond!! I truly enjoyed my stay and would love to come back again!!

Quick three day stay in Bayfield

The property and owners were great! We enjoyed the many places to sit and relax - both outside and in. We typically like to bring our own food and cook while stay in a rental space, and this had plenty of amenities. The ice machine was an excellent touch! It is conveniently located to get to all sorts of adventures! An added bonus was all the berry picking options within the surrounding areas. The dog definitely enjoyed the treats left for him by the owners and sun-bathing outside each morning.

Eclectically decorated

Had everthing we needed plus a whole lot not expected! The interior has so many cute furnishings with lots of hidden surprises that our 8 year old granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed. Washer dryer combo in case you needed it. Liked that the kitchen and bathroom area could be closed off by a door as I am an early riser so did not disturb the rest of our crew. Host was right there if needed. The icemaker was nice since there is just a mini frig. Nice reading nook if others are watching TV or playing one of the many board games available. Two outside seating areas were convenient.Close to town.

Quaint Cottage

Quaint cottage with so much attention to detail it immediately makes you feel right at home. This place is close to a lot of the amenities Bayfield has to offer but you still feel like you are tucked away in a quiet secluded space. The Howl brewery is a short drive or doable walk from the cabin and the hosts were so thoughtful giving us a gift card for a beer. It is also dog friendly and our dog was thrilled with the treats left for him. The attention to detail with the thoughtful gifts and the decor inside as well as outside are like no other place I have stayed in Bayfield before and I have stayed at many. I would highly recommend Goodnight Irene as a place to stay while in Bayfield. Rich and Marian were fantastic hosts, I cannot wait to return.

Special wonderful place

This place and the property owner was such an amazing experience. The place has such wonderful touches to it and Lindsey was so friendly to talk to. There is one thing that was a miss communication between the Vrbo info and the owner: is the check out time. It says on Vrbo to be out before 11am and we were texted that we should have been out by 10am. Otherwise, all the rest of the experience was beyond wonderful!! We will be back in the future and are telling friends about this place.

Darling unit - bigger than it looks from photos. We loved all the decor, and the gift bag for our son and mugs for grown-ups was such a sweet touch. Mattresses were comfortable, everything was very clean. WiFi wasn't always very strong. Overall, we loved it and would stay again!

Country charmer

So many little details make this such a charming place to stay! The kitchen had everything we needed and so much more. I loved the touches like microwave popcorn, several tvs, movie videos to choose from, games to play, and relatively close to town-- only a few minutes drive. The only thing that prevents it from being perfect is that there is no place to hang up your cloths. Otherwise, LOVED IT!

Beautiful and comfortable home close to downtown Bayfield which was perfect for my Mom, my dog and me. Plenty of space for us inside as well as outside to walk the dog. The owners were very quick to respond to a special request we had while we were staying there, and we really appreciated their kindness. I would definitely stay here again.
