Évadez-vous dans votre propre escapade romantique privée sur le lac Sacandaga. Cette maison privée offre une pittoresque maison de campagne boisée des Adirondacks dans un cadre paisible niché sur 3 hectares de terrain. Découvrez et profitez d'une vue magnifique sur le lac tout en lisant un livre ou tout simplement en vous relaxant et en vous ressourçant sur notre véranda intérieure 4 saisons. Profitez des cadeaux paisibles de la nature tout en observant la faune / de nombreux oiseaux ou en visitant les cerfs dans la cour. House propose une cuisine complète avec des casseroles / poêles, micro-ondes et ustensiles. Le salon a une cheminée en pierre et un coin lecture pour ces nuits confortables et tranquilles lorsque vous voulez vous blottir contre un bon livre ou un film avec un feu. (House possède un câble de base et une gamme de DVD / lecteur DVD raccordés aux haut-parleurs Bose pour votre plaisir cinématographique.) Deux salles de bain complètes, (une à l'étage et une au rez-de-chaussée), laveuse et sécheuse, une chambre principale, une chambre d'amis avec un deuxième lit jumeau escamotable et une troisième chambre a été convertie en bureau. La maison est équipée d'un matelas pneumatique pleine grandeur qui peut être gonflé et utilisé dans le salon, de sorte que la maison peut accueillir 6 ou 8 personnes, selon. La maison a un barbecue (pour une utilisation en toutes saisons) dans la zone couverte, terrasse avec chaises, table et parasol. Il y a le wifi gratuit et le téléphone fixe pour les appels locaux aux États-Unis uniquement. Il y aura des frais supplémentaires pour les appels internationaux.

Les Adirondacks ont tellement à offrir; événements d'été et feux d'artifice, belles feuilles à l'automne et ski / raquette en hiver. Chaque saison apporte tant de choses à faire et à vivre!

Our trip was all about spending quality time with family. The house/cabin was perfect for that. Comfortable, quiet with a great porch. Great view of the lake. Would highly recommend.

Great Quiet Getaway

My wife and I had a long weekend at this property and can't say enough about the secluded location, coziness, and friendly hospitality and communication of the owner. They were attentive to our needs and were prompt in answering any questions we may have had. The property has everything you need for a peaceful getaway including marvelous views of Great Sacandaga Lake. We will definitely be back! Thank you!!!

Great location

The house is located at a beautiful lake. Great for water sports and fishing. The only thing that i wasnt aware of based on pictures was that there was no dock to park the boat at if you decide to rent one or bring your own. The house itself is very secluded great privacy very clean and has everything you need and more. Owners very nice and helpful and very accommodating. Over all a great stay. I will come back when the dock is fixed as i like to rent a boat and go fishing!

Wouldn’t rent again

Listing & pictures are not completely accurate. There’s a far long steep hill/driveway down to water area & the land at the water area is a hill & not level & it’s right next to another house so there’s no privacy. There’s steep stairs into the water which goes down a rock cliff. Surfaces in the house such as end tables were dusty, the dishes in the house were dirty & I had to wash them beforehand if I wanted to use them, the bathroom vanity upstairs was dirty, the upstairs shower had hair & stains in it & the outdoor lighting is actually motion sensor cameras which aren’t disclosed in listing. The view was nice & the location is nice but it wasn’t what I expected.

As an owner, I think it really really sad that 1 guest that you do everything to make their stay pleasant can break an item in your house, get away with it, and when the owner tries to negotiate to get it fixed. The guest retaliates by writing a nasty review to hurt the owner. Maybe as a professional who understands right from wrong, I see something wrong with this, especially after they had a great time in my house. Be the judge for yourself, my other many many reviews speak for themselves! Trying to hurt someone for your own selfish immaturity is wrong. I wish you the best. I will rise above. Good luck

Quiet Adirondack Home with a view

Very quiet, cozy Adirondack home with a wonderful view of Great Sacandaga Lake. Well appointed and nicely set back from the road. It was convenient to a lot of southern Adirondack attractions and close enough to Northville for shopping and conveniences. Absolutely no problems with the home.

Outdated Dirty House

Kitchen needed thorough cleaning, draws filthy with bugs. Dirty furniture, Too many personal items, clutter, No closet space, Dock unusable, rusty old grill not usable, nightly noise by the animals in attic. Bottoms of bare feet were black from walking around the house, in a word....YUK...neighbor said owner had not been there in over 2 yrs

Great Rental

I absolutely love this cottage, very secluded, beautiful view of the lake , and very cozy inside. I will definitely be renting from this owner again . Had some Covid issues and wasn’t sure about being able to make the scheduled dates but the owner was very accommodating and helpful. Fortunately we could keep our rented days there and enjoyed a much needed time away from everything.

Quiet weekend in the woods

This is a great house! It’s up the hill a bit from the road so it is somewhat separated from other houses. Surrounded by tall pines, and has a great view of the lake from the sunroom and deck. A good kitchen with new appliances as well. A great choice for a weekend away!

Lovely home in a magical place!

I was so pleased to find this welcoming and cozy home tucked away in such an ideal location! The house is tucked away just enough from the street to make you feel in the woods, and also has a stunning view of the lake!

Relaxing getaway!

This little cabin in woods provided a peaceful place to getaway! We didn’t really use the cabin except to sleep, as we rented as overflow for my family home down the street. But could definitely recommend for a couple looking for a nice peaceful vacation. The location and grounds were beautiful!

Weekend Getaway- GREAT LOCATION!!!!!!!!!!!

Great location. The lake was just across the street from the house where we spend the majority of the time. It took us a bit to find our spot but once we did we took full advantage of it. We enjoyed our lunch and dinner by the lake and packed our Yeti for evening drinks by the fire pit. This is is not a RESORT this is a family house so don't expect the Ritz... If you are expecting HIGH amenities this is not the place for you. It also has no AC so if you have hot flashes and need an AC to sleep this is not a place for you. If you LOVE the outdoors and don't mind sleeping with windows open go for it. The lake was key for me and my husband-- again we loved our stayed on Sacandaga Lake. Can't wait to go back! PS- The host was great -- the fridge was malfunctioning while we were there which was NOT her fault and she was very attentive. The neighbors were super friendly as well.

Quiet seculed home.

The property allowed a nice view of the lake but access to sit by the waters edge was a challenge. Allowed area was poorly marked not sure where to go. Was much further out than advertised was 35 miles from Walmart and any other stores. House itself was nice but did wish it was clearer that owners belongings were everywhere, in all the cabinets, drawers , etc. Overall a very quiet, secluded & relaxation stay.

Lovely stay on the lake

Cute cottage in the woods. Has a lovely view of the lake. The dock is really nice to sit on but super tricky to swim from with the broken stairs. I did miss having towels, as we are from far away and couldn’t travel with our own, so that was inconvenient. But the owner was nice and very responsive. Kitchen is very well equipped and the house was comfortable. Upstairs bedrooms can get hot without AC, so I’d recommend a few more fans, but overall it was a really lovely place to stay and in a great location along the lake. Thanks!

Cozy Country Home

We came to Lake Sacandaga to gather with family over the holiday week. This home is very comfortable and provides all the amenities you need. The view of the lake is just a delight to wake up to. Although the lake was quite high, making it difficult to sit on the dock, the shore area is lovely with chairs and a picnic table and a fire pit to gather around in evening. I enjoyed every minute! Thank you.

Peaceful Stay Near the Lake

We enjoyed our trip to this beautiful lake. The house was not exactly what I hoped for, the main rooms were wonderful. The bedrooms were rather small though. The room with two twin beds had the beds right next to each other with no room between them. Though this was not ideal it worked better for us than the double bed which was way to small for me and my fiance, this room did have a TV and a netflix account for guest use, which my older child loved when we switched rooms with him. It was extremely hot upstairs as well, air conditioning would have been nice. The driveway is rather long going down to the lake and was not as accessible as I would have liked since we have a 9 month old. We were unable to use the lake area provided and had to use the public beach down the road. The beach was only a couple minutes away and we had it all to ourselves during the week which was surprising for August. The deck was nice but did not have much sun. I loved the front room, there was a cardinal that tapped on the window every morning and there were deer eating in the yard one morning too. Nicely decorated home representing the Adirondacks well. We found lots of things to do in the area and loved our vacation.

The house was beautiful. It was very clean and decorated very nicely. The trek down the driveway and across the road to the owners dock was alittle disappointing. Getting our kayaks down the steps to the dock was also a bummer. If this would have been right on the lake or had a small beach it would have been a five star rating. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Lovely home, beautiful views of the lake, spacious and nicely furnished. The lakefront is gorgeous but the a section of the dock needs to be replaced and there is no ladder to get out of the water. There are boats parked alongside so going up the stairs is ok for healthy adults but not safe for kids.

Great house and lake use.

this rental i great. Wil helps with any questions you have about the property and there is nothing wrong with this house. it is comfortable everything works well,TV & WiFi, and she has it decorated beautifully. the woods setting give way to watching deer feed in the front yard and other wildlife roaming around. Nice ride up toward North Creek for white water rafting and lots of stream and lake fishing. Sacanadaga Lake also fished well from my canoe, with launch site just up the road from the property.

Loved it!

Loved the peace & quiet of the place! The lake was beautiful and great for swimming. My only issue was that it was a bit scary getting onto the dock as the little bridge looked like it might break soon. Wish there was a ladder to get onto the dock after being in the water. There are steps under the little bridge, but not easy to get to & they were very slippery. Still loved the water though! As for the house, it was very cute and homey. Had a bit of an issue with the TV, but I think it was due to the greenery on the mantle. That's ok, because we weren't there to watch TV! One suggestion would be to add a futon or fold out couch to the porch area for those hot sleeping nights. Close to Lake George area too. We took a ride to Lake George & went on the Mohican boat ride for 2 1/2 hours! Great weather all around! I would definitely recommend this home to others! Willi was great to work with & helped us out with any issues we had. Overall...loved it! Nancy
