Cabin very nice and comfortable. Just wish we could have had a fire in the evening so that was a bummer we are outdoor people so sitting around a camper fire is very important
This was a perfect place for us to stay for the weekend as we were passing through. The cabin was small but tidy, had everything we needed! Close enough to the national park so we could spend a day there!
It was perfect for a visit to the north loop of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Cabin was very clean with modern amenities. The ability to do laundry was a real plus. Very quiet environment.
The cabin was absolutely amazing. Clean and so comfortable to relax in after each full day of hiking in Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Cabin is only 15 minutes from the north unit, which is where all the fantastic hiking is located. Highly recommend this place. The property it sits on is beautiful too.
We enjoyed staying in the cabin. It was the perfect size for my husband and me. It was also located close to Theodore Roosevelt National Park so it made visiting the park easy.
Cabin was well maintained and reasonably equipped. The area was very quiet. If you are visiting the Theodore Roosevelt Park this location is great. Be advised the term cozy means just that. The cabin is small with minimal counter space and table space but fits two adults. If there are more persons and you were stuck-in on a rainy day you might find it very confining. The host was easy to contact, internet work well and seating consisted of three reclining chairs and three stool chairs for the small table.
Cozy little cabinVery small shower, no light in shower. The material of the mattress cover was very noisy, any small movement made a loud noise , like sleeping on plastic. The light on the Flag pole was soooo dim we had a hard time identifying the turn into property. Itâs Dark out there, we would suggest reflectors before the turn and a Brighter Flag Pole Light. Should have instructions on how to lock the door when leaving.Hope this review Helps you
Peaceful stay near the north unit of Theodore Roosevelt Park. We visited both units and enjoyed great hikes. The cabin on a farmstead was perfect. A notice on the wall recommended the Maah Daah Hey trail only a half mile away which was well-worth a visit.
Unique, Cozy, and a great location for exploring TRNP north unit
I was a little surprised to see that the cabins were located on a corner of a working farm, but everything about the cabin was clean, cozy, and convenient to exploring the nearby National Grassland areas as well as the northern unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. It was a little longer haul to the south unit, but the hour drive was on good roads and easily traveled. All in all, we'd definitely stay here again when we return to the area.
We were greeted by a black dog and a one and a half eared cat. Best greeting ever!
The cabin was perfect for my husband and myself as we visited Theodore Roosevelt NP. We were able to cook all our meals and the night were wonderfully quiet. Awesome hot water.
If we ever come back this way we will be staying here
Easy to find, kind of in the middle of no where, typical for a country place in North Dakota. Clean, easy to come and go. Exactly as the listing shows.
Quiet, clean cabin on a working beef cattle farm. Badlands views were about a half mile down the road. We hiked in both units of the TRNP. Beautiful views! Nearest grocery store is at least half an hour or more away. Greeted by Sassy (black cat) was awesome! Friendly property managers. We would definitely stay there again.
