Beautiful Lakefront 3-bedroom 3 full bath home + large play yard; Sleeps 8!
3-bedroom home ideal for families and couples. Has 2 more lots for basketball and shuffleboard courts. Ample parking (boat trailers fit, too). Quiet, desirable Indian Isles! 1/2 mile from a popular restaurant.
Our stay was amazing! We had a long weekend in the fall to enjoy and we made the perfect choice to stay here! It was very cozy and quiet. We really enjoyed walking the little island over the bridge. My son had a blast skipping rocks there. We will definitely book here agin
We had a girls weekend - 6 of us. Always challenging to find a space with enough beds, when we prefer to sleep separately. So this was great for us. Nice, quiet, beautiful location. Would be great for family with kids. Thanks!
Had a wonderful, relaxing stay with my husband and older children and grandson. Fishing, boating, grilling and chilling! Janes house is lovely; roomy and clean and very comfortable, with everything one would need for a worry free vacation. The view out back of the lake is perfect, and the whole area is quiet and peaceful. We will definitely stay again!
Very relaxing. Did a lot of fishing from the dock area and walking the neighborhood. Was disappointed that there were no kayaks at the property. Also, the mosquitos were horrible at dusk. But overall, a very enjoyable stay.
Stayed with our adult children and grandchildren for a family reunion nearby. Had spent a lot of time there as a teen and was able to share my memories and stories with family. House was very clean, well stocked, extras in the garage( inflatables, toys) bedrooms stayed cool on a particular hot weekend. Appreciated three bathrooms but one was tinyâmy only negative comment. Would definitely stay again.
After a long year, we came to stay for a nearby family reunion. Each teen had their own bedroom and bathroom to enjoy their space. I had the beautiful solitude of sitting on the dock and fishing. After loosing my dad earlier in the year, this made me feel connected to him.
I had enquired about possible fishing necessities in a message with the host and was told there were some basics (that was great), I was surprised to find two new rod/reel sets with some tackle when I arrived.
I got a few other things and had a great time. Caught enough catfish to have a small fish fry for my family!
We loved this place! I am thankful to the host for sharing this space.
We got accused of breaking a toilet seat we got accused of sliding closet doors being off track we got accused of the main burner coil on stove messed up when we got there it didnât work to begin with so I pinched them together so they would make contact with heating element which worsted - all 6 of us were over 45 and we are getting hassled without photo evidence of any kind of issue. The house is beautiful the location is amazing - I forgot my IPad and the owner still hasnât shipped it even though I offered to pay shipping costs. Horrible experience post visitâŠâŠ
The property was very comfortable in all common areas. It was easy to socialize with everyone. The only negative was in the front bedroom. The mattresses tended to lean to one side and it was very difficult to get comfortable. Otherwise, an awesome location.
We had a great trip and really enjoyed the property. Owner was super attentive and proactive with all of our needs and it was a great booking experience! Definitely would stay again if weâre back in the area!
We had an amazing Labor Day weekend at this home. It is in a great location- walking distance to Cranberries, a local restaurant on the island, and across from a Pew Island park where there is a wonderful walking trail. The house is spacious and the owners have truly thought of every detail to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Plenty of towels, beach towels, kitchen utensils, etc. My favorite part of the home is the absolutely gorgeous views. So many windows upstairs and downstairs to look out and enjoy the scenery. My favorite spot was the recliner by the window- perfect place for a cup of tea and a good book. We rented a boat and the dock was accessible and easy to use. Fishing off the deck was great- caught several. There is a nice big table outside on the patio. We fed 12 outside and had chairs for all. The owners own the land across from the house which has a very large basketball and shuffleboard court. The kids loved playing over there. Owners are kind and thoughtful and very easy to communicate with. We had the best weekend and canât wait to visit again!
Great location! Much quieter area than other places we have stayed at the Lake. As others have mentioned, the kitchen and stove are a little small but we worked with it. It was nice to enjoy sitting on the back deck and enjoy the water and people watching. Will be back.
It was nice to go outside and watch the people fishing. It was peaceful and relaxing and from the inside looking out all you can see is water and the beautiful park. We loved it!
We had 6 people stay at the house and there was more than enough room. The neighborhood is awesome and is right around the corner from Cranberries restaurant. The dock is great. We were able to have our boat there and fish from the dock. They had everything there we could need including beach towels, which was awesome. The only items I would point out is only 2 bedrooms have A/C which are room air conditioner units. It was super hot when we were there, so the upstairs loft, which has beautiful large windows, took a LONG time to cool. We had to bring 2 fans up there to blow the cool air around from the room air conditioner. The kitchen is very small, but doable. The July 4th fireworks were the best I've ever seen. I will definitely come back.
The house was in a beautiful neighborhood on a waterway attached to the lake. The house was very clean and had all the amenities needed. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Host could not have been any friendlier or more accomodating. Kitchen fully stocked and towels / items provided were better than any place i have ever stayed. Location was perfect! Definitely would stay again and and wish all hosts were so gracious.
Our parents were civically active residents of Indian Lake, who spent 30 years of retirement life focused on Indian Lake's water quality. Three of their children want to honor their parents' love of the lake by opening up the home so more families can enjoy it and the lake.
This property is unique! Not many homes at Indian Lake own additional residential lots. Not many homes can look across the lake channel and see the open lake beyond, due to their being no homes on the opposite side--it is a state park! The state park offers a boat put-in right across the channel.
3 residential lots, including basketball court and shuffleboard, across from a state tree park with boat put-in just yards away, covered boat dock, large waterfront deck and grassy area, private, quiet, spacious home
