We had 7 people total for a bowling tournament and the location was great. Ann was very friendly and had great communication. I would recommend this place and stay again if we are in the area.
I liked the place but the pillow covers & bed linens in master bedroom were used when i got there. Overall good place but if youre charging a heavy cleaning fee you need to ensure the beds are clean.
Check in was no issue. The property is in a nice quiet place in the city. I would rent this house again under one change. Password for the Wi-Fi when paying for this very nice home. Thx again.
I have stayed at this property 4 times now with groups of friends and enjoyed every time. And i will definitely be staying here again.
Thank you to wonderful hosts!!
I canât rate this property bc the host double booked it! I contacted her earlier in the day to see if I could check in early. I didnât hear back from her until 15 minutes before I was set to check in and it was her telling me that I couldnât check in because the property was unavailable.I had reached out prior to booking told her what my plan was and that I would be coming in with 8 kids and a decorator. She agreed and said that I was pre approved to book. So even after knowing all that my booking was canceled 15 minutes b4 check in. She did offer me two other properties. One was way too far away and the other was closer but still about 42 minutes away from my location. With only a 15 minute notice what other choice did I have? I ended up choosing one of the options she gave me. The rental was a lot smaller than the original one I book. The common area which I wanted to use for my decorations was way too small. I wasnât able to decorate how i wanted to because of that. All of my decorations were not used so I wasted money on that. Then the property was not as nice as the one that I originally booked. Since I did take the offer (as if I had a choice with just a 15 min notice) I didnât ask for all of my money back. I just asked for something because I was definitely inconvenienced, I wasted money on decor , I checked in a lot later after I was trying to get an early check in. I wouldâve took at least 50. She said no. So yeah 0/10 for me. The host suck. Donât waste your money.
Cute home with adorable doggie decor. Safe neighborhood with close access to freeway. Everything was comfortable and owner was easy to contact and responsive.
Very clean and lovely house. Great safe neighborhood for dog (or person) walking. Great location near the highway for access to downtown Detroit and surrounding areas. My dog, especially, had a great time with the large yard, dog artwork, and all the toys.
I have stayed at this property many times and I keep coming back because of the home and the owners. If there is a problem, which is extremely rare, they get it taken care of immediately. Great communication with the owners, easy check in, flexible with times. I will of course return to this house again.
We booked this house for our family of 5 (4, 2 and 6 month old) and two dogs for the week of Thanksgiving since my family is in the Shores. The house was way better in person! Very spacious, perfect bedroom set up, king bedroom on the first floor and two queen bedroom and two twin bedroom upstairs. Remodeled bathrooms, easy to use TVS and even some Christmas decor for the holiday season. We will definitely be booking again next time we come for a visit and recommending to other family members for when they come to visit too. Highly recommend!!
We were really drawn to this property because of the layout of the home and the fun theme. (Our family is a huge dog family.) I would make just a few suggestions: Adding ice trays in the freezer and a filtering water pitcher to keep in the fridge; a couple of the pillows should be replaced due to the strong pet smell; and a door mat at the side door. These are just suggestions. We very much enjoyed our stay!! Thank you for the little Christmas decorations and treats!
We stayed at this house while in the area for a fishing trip. The house was in a nice location, close to the boat ramps. Had a fenced in yard/driveway, which was nice to put the boat in when not in use. It was close to restaurants, shopping and grocery stores. It was a great neighborhood to walk in. There are also some nice walking paths close by. This place allows dogs and it was perfect for that, especially with the fenced in yard. It also had a nice deck to enjoy the beautiful weather. We would definitely stay here again.
I was in town for a wedding. I was initially attracted to the posting given its proximity to Irelands Pub (my friends own the pub and it was their sister that was getting married). Additionally I was traveling with my Pomsky and was joined by my friend and her daughter. We werenât in the house often given all the wedding activities but the home was perfect and we are pleased with our stay! We did take pictures of all the terriers for our friend that has 2 terriers!
My friends and I enjoyed staying at the house. I would say the house as-is actually sleeps no more than 11 adults comfortably. If several of us hadn't brought air mattresses, we would have been on the floor. I was very stressed the day of arrival because I didn't receive check in information until only 30 minutes beforehand, and several of us were traveling over an hour to get there. The house was clean and had nice, homey touches. My friends said they'd stay there again.
Property was in a great location. House was nice. Could have used more towels and wash cloths. Good thing some guys brought their own. It was located close to the boat launch, which was very convenient, but it is very difficult to back a bass boat and truck in due to the narrow street and the neighbors all park their cars at the end of their driveway rather than pulling up to their garages, which creates an issue trying to cut the corner to back a boat trailer in.
