I relaxed the minute my husband and I walked into the door. I was so happy to see the comfortable furniture that lets you put your feet up. I’ve been in too many that have the uncomfortable futons. We rented to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and it couldn’t have been any better. Being in this farm house and seeing the barn brought back a lot of good childhood memories. It was very clean and has many updates but love that it didn’t lose the farm house charm. I would highly recommend to anyone to stay here. We had a very nice campfire out back both nights. It was so nice and relaxing, and hearing the owl hooting and the frogs singing, music to our ears. Couldn’t have been any better, thank you so much for sharing your home with us! Would stay again!

Looking at the home from the outside you would not expect the inside to be so updated and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we were in the area.

Had a wonderful time the days that we were here. Beautiful countryside. Loved all the room we had to roam around the property. We enjoyed the walking trails and so did my dogs. I would move here in a heart beat.

Love this Century Farmhouse … from the location to ease of communications with owners … it has everything! There’s a reason it’s our go-to for trips to the Driftless, we’ll be back.

Once again, a Driftless stay in a Driftless gem! There’s some Amish builds going on in the neighborhood … combined with haying it was a busy street for horse & buggies this time!

We walked in the house and knew we'd love it!! I really love old things and this had it for sure. It was a great place to just stay and relax for the weekend! Took our pup a little extra time. She doesn't travel so much.

Amazing location with lots of charm

My SO and I stayed the weekend went biking and saw a concert at the nearby driftless music garden. We also had an excellent dinner at the Hillsboro brewery super close to all three. The house was immaculate and so cozy.

Peace and quiet

This was our second time at the property. We brought our dog and enjoyed the trails on the farm each day. It's quiet and peaceful - just what we needed! The location is close to hiking and kayaking too.

This was our second stay at Hill Country Haven. It’s the perfect place for anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, looking for a place where you can slow the pace, enjoy nature and the wonders of clean air and a star filled night sky. The view from the bedroom is awe-inspiring. The house has everything we might need and is impeccably clean. What more could you ask for.

Amish Country Beautiful Getaway!

This older farmhouse rental is in Amish Country and takes you back to a slower less stressful place. The surrounding area is so wonderful and a great stay for sure!!
