YOUR LOFT APARTMENT is on the second floor tucked away at the rear of the building ~ making it an exceptionally quiet & tranquil retreat in the heart of exciting Old San Juan~ and features soaring 18-foot ceilings, exposed wooden beams, thick brick walls and tile floors. Just outside your door, you'll enjoy sitting on the patio overlooking the beautiful and tranquil open air interior Spanish courtyard below.

Here's what you may not love:
- Although it's just a short flight of stairs to get to the apartment on the second floor, the building has no elevator (it's over 200 years old) so those with disabilities may have issues getting to the apartment.
- Some people love lofts and others not so much. The open style floor plan is great for people who want to share space with their friends and loved ones. But if you really need your privacy, a loft may not be right for you.
- Although we allow toddlers, the loft does have stairs which can make some people uncomfortable.

This apartment easily has enough room for 4 people people with one queen bed and two sofa beds. Being a loft style apartment, it has an open floor plan with the only interior walls being for the bathrooms. This makes it an ideal configuration for individuals, couples, families and small groups who want to share an open space together.

PEACE AND QUIET: Because the apartment is tucked away at the rear of the building away from the street, it’s very quiet and peaceful. This makes it easy to rest, relax and recharge after a day (or night) of fun, not to mention providing a quiet environment in case you need to get some real work done.

KITCHEN: The open kitchen is well equipped with utensils, pots, pans, coffee maker, frother, blender, espresso maker, glasses, mugs, dishes, bowls, wine glasses, microwave, toaster oven and cook top- we even provide local Puerto Rican coffee. The kitchen peninsula is great for dining and cooking family style.

LIVING ROOM: The main living room is next to the kitchen, and has a large sectional sofa (that's also a sofa bed) and Smart TV.

OFFICE/SECOND LIVING ROOM: The apartment features an office/second living room that features a large desk, ergonomic desk chair and triple monitor setup. It provides a true workspace for those needing to get some real work done. The room also feature a Queen sofa bed for those wanting to use it as a sleeping area.

BATHROOMS
- Bathroom 1: Full bathroom on the main level stocked with a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, wash cloths and makeup removal cloths
- Bathroom 2: Half bathroom upstairs attached to the loft bedroom

PERFECT LOCATION: Located in the hip SoFo section of Fortaleza Street, the apartment's location can’t be beat for walkability and is just steps to all the tourist attractions, cafes, shopping, nightlife, grocery stores, pharmacies, cruise terminal and amazing restaurants. Walk Score 98!

The local beach (Escambron) is a leisurely 20-minute stroll away along the scenic coast-side promenade (or 10 minutes by scooter or bicycle). Scooter and bike rentals are readily available nearby.

LAUNDRY: Just a few steps from your front door you’ll find the building’s shared coin operated washer and dryer, so there’s no need to leave the building to hunt for a laundromat in the event you need to run a load or two.

PARKING: Although the building does not have parking (as is the case with almost all buildings in Old San Juan), we're located just a couple of blocks away from the two main parking garages in Old San Juan.
