Our family had a very good stay at this property. The house was very clean and exactly as advertised and the perfect place for our family to stay while in the area.
The house was clean and cozy, and had everything that we needed to have an enjoyable stay - a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities and room enough so that four of us weren't on top of each other. The AC in the bedroom as greatly appreciated on the warm days when we were there! Taylor was a wonderful host and provided very good information on the property and the amenities. Nice place and we'll stay again if the opportunity presents itself.
We stayed for a weekend wedding. Perfect for three adults. Everything we needed. The whole house was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Would highly recommend
We had a delightful stay at Taylors home in Ishpeming. It was very clean, light-filled, cozy and so many nice touches. Taylor was very accomodating, kind and communicated promptly. We would definitely stay again!
Our stay was without incident. Very comfortable accommodations with all that we needed. Great location as well. We loved the outdoor pellet grill. We didnât spend much time in the house as we were exploring the beautiful upper peninsula, but the bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean and the kitchen was an accommodating as well. We appreciated being able to bring our dog too. Communication was great, and we were given an opportunity to check in early if needed. overall everything was awesome. Would definitely stay again!
It had just about everything we needed. The freezer door handle had broken so we could not use that. The bathroom is on the second floor so if you having issues going up stairs this would not be for you. Other then that we loved our stay, and the TV even had lots of channels!
Nice house close to my daughterâs place making it super convenient for us to come and go. House was clean and had plenty of supplies. Good sized kitchen and king bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the electric fireplace and the dual carafe/Keurig machine. TV had tons of channels and there was great wifi service. Stairs may be a bit difficult for some given the only bathroom is upstairs and itâs a bit cramped. Quiet neighborhood, plenty of parking space for our F250, pretty yard and view. Taylor was super responsive and access to the house was seamless. We enjoyed our stay very much.
This rental was a lovely winter get away for me and my dog in a quiet, private setting. PROS: The home is as shown, a small old house completely renovated and decorated in a modern, minimalistic and comfortable style. Hardwood floors, large windows and modern appliances. King and double beds plus a pull out couch. Manager Taylor responded to all of my questions promptly. CON: Only one bathroom which is located upstairs. That said, I would still recommend this property and Iâll most likely rent again in the summer season just to see what itâs like.
Clean, well-equipped kitchen and easy-to-use grill.Cozy living room with smart TV and LED fireplace and good internet made for a nice place to relax after adventuresLocation is great: good view, quiet neighborhood, multiple grocery options nearby, and easy access to the Iron Ore Heritage TrailHouse was comfortable in both hot and cold weatherHost responded quickly to questions and requestsOnly complaint is that when people are parked in the neighboring property it can be hard to get your car out of the parking spot.
We were happy to be able to bring our dog with us on our trip. The home was as described. It is older, with some updates, like the upstairs bathroom. The upstairs bedroom has an A/C unit, but that was the only room. Thankfully it wasn't too hot during our stay. The host was very good about communicating with us.
The house meet every need that we had. We weren't there long enough to really have anything to complain about. We were out exploring the UP. The only thing I would say is just stay on top of the lawn. I know he said they mow on Tuesdays but it needed tons or weeding done. Also some of the wooden stairs were lose and that could cause someone to get hurt. The home was really warm when we got there but the bedroom was cooled by a portable AC unit. Which was fine and we were able to sleep comfortably. Other than that, the place was great. I would totally stay there again.
My name is Taylor, I am an engineer and graduate of Michigan Tech. I grew up in Negaunee, Michigan. I have spent the last several years living in Nevada. I recently moved home, because there is no place like the Upper Peninsula. I enjoy any outdoor activities in my free time.
This house is located in a quiet, and clean neighborhood. The house is cozy and perfect for families looking to explore the area for a weekend or longer.
