If your dream vacation involves staying in a home that will provide you an altitude adjustment, this is the property you've been waiting for. Located on the Eastern Continental Divide, this home is a luxurious, two-bedroom cabin with picturesque mountain views, soaring ceilings, and plenty of large windows.

Upon entering Altitude Adjustment, you'll immediately notice the open concept living which makes spending time with family and friends a breeze. Whip up your favorite dish in the fully stocked kitchen or watch a movie in the cozy living room. In the upstairs loft you'll find an additional entertainment room with plenty of board games to play. Bedroom one features a plush queen size bed and bedroom two has two twins that can easily be pushed together to make a king (additional bedding will be left for this option.)

Head outside and soak in the sweeping views and enjoy the privacy and fresh mountain breezes from the large deck. Take in mountain living while grilling up your favorite meal or telling campfire stories around the fire pit. Unwind in the hot tub after a long day of mountain activities. Located just 8 minutes from downtown Cashiers and Lake Glenville, you won't find any shortage of things to do at Altitude Adjustment. Great little cabin for the two of us. Wonderful location. Loved the hot tub! Kitchen was well stocked. It was a very comfortable stay for us.

Cute little cabin close to town, easy access to restaurants, shopping and very secluded which was perfect for some privacy. Loved the hot tub and the mountain views. Only thing that made me a bit nervous was the driveway. It would have probably been better for an SUV or sedan to maneuver in the driveway. But would totally recommend.

This is a cute little cabin. It is a very short drive to all of the restaurants and shopping in Cashiers. I would recommend for 2 or 3 people who want to be close to the major roads and entertainment of the area.

Great Place for a Vacation

My girlfriend, her daughter and I stayed here for 15 days. It was the perfect house for the three of us. Although smaller, it has everything you need - a great location, views, a great deck, a hot tub, and a fire pit. The location is close to Cashiers (less than 3 minute drive) and also close to Lake Glenville (5-10 minute drive) - while also feeling like you're in the woods away from it all. It was easy to run into town for dinner, going to the park, or pick up a pizza. You could also enjoy lake life with a short drive north to rent a boat or try several of the restaurants in Glennville. We did several hikes in the area and it was a great spot to head west to trails around Highland's hikes or east to trails around Pisgah. At the house, the fantastic views of the mountains made breakfast and coffee in the morning great. We also used the very well kept propane grill several times to make dinner and enjoy the sunset. The views made dips in the hot tub after a day of hiking more enjoyable. We used the home's fire pit on a couple of occasions for smores. And after all of this, the washer and dryer made it easy to get cleaned up and ready for the next day. The only negative is the tap water. It was clean, fine for showering and cooking, but it did have a bit of an odd taste. Easily solved with bottle water. We would recommend this house for groups of 3 or less if you want to enjoy the Cashiers area.

Excellent stay- with minor opportunities

We loved our stay. We thought the house was comfortable, cozy and well stocked. A few very minor opportunities. It would be nice to stock the kitchen with Saran wrap and tin foil as well as wine glasses with stems. We would have used the fire pit if there had been wood. The lighting was ample inside but might be nice to change to softer light bulbs to provide warmth to the space. Thanks again we really loved it.

Another great stay here

This is our second time staying at this house and we loved it just as much as last time. Perfect location to cashiers and highlands. Finishing the days with a nice view from a hot tub was amazing. Can’t wait to come back!

Cute and cozy getaway. Really made for couple or small family. Very nice. Isolated by trees providing privacy. Nice view out front! Managers were very responsive.

Perfect Getaway Cabin for the Family

Cabin was located in a secluded spot with only a few neighbors nearby, and only a 3-5 minute drive into Cashiers. Cabin came fully stocked as we were able to cook breakfast every morning and even grilled out one night. Has all of the kitchen utensils, plates, glassware, etc needed. Hot tub right out front was very nice, and our kids really enjoyed the fire pit. Our kids picked sticks from the yard and broke them up into kindling, and it was super easy to get it started (cabin comes stocked with several fire starter bricks). Had an amazing view of the sunset each night right over the mountains, and the stars were abundant and clear to see each night. Highlands was only about 20 minutes from the cabin, and we were only minutes from several hiking trails. Cabin also came stocked with plenty of board games, and it was the perfect place for us to "unplug" for a few days. It did have a few TVs, but we didn't use them.

Great Property

Property was great! The view was incredible and the hot tub was much needed after spending the day outdoors. Chad, the maintenance staff, was an incredible help when the hot tub was not working on Saturday afternoon. I know that it states that there is enough soap for a weekend but with four people, it really isn't. Otherwise, great place, quiet, beautiful view, and kitchen well stocked with appliances and utensils.

Great getaway

The cabin is all we needed for a family of four and conveniently located to restaurants, hiking spots, and anything else we needed. The kids loved hiding away in the loft space, the patio area was great, and the views are as described. Thanks for the hospitality and we look forward to another trip.
