Your serenity begins as you pass through the white picket gate and step foot on the lush grounds of this vibrant and picturesque estate.Take a break from reality out on the front porch as you soak up gorgeous tropical views. A blend of coastal decor and tropical-chic accoutrements captivate your bohemian soul and beckon you inside the front door. As you enter, take a cool respite in the parlor that offers plush seating, a Keurig machine, unlimited coffee k-cups, microwave, ice machine, and a filtered water cooler. Read your favorite novel by the light of tropical sunshine or turn on cozy lamps when the sun sets. A wall-mounted TV offers an alternative diversion while you are waiting for your night out on the town. You will also find extra towels and an area for storing luggage during your arrival or departure. A lovely, small powder room is located at the base of the stairs for your comfort and convenience.

From the mansion you will walk through the garden to this ground floor king studio that's sure to delight. The room was super clean, AC worked very well, bed was amazing. My husband told me the whole trip that “I knocked it out of the park” with The Scarlet Mango. We would book the same room for future visits. We loved our own private entry, felt like we were the only ones there. We also enjoyed the pool!

Lovely place

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Very clean, quiet and perfect location. Only issue was the garden room was very difficult to cool down to a comfortable temperature. Additionally the bed is very high and was challenging to get into for a short and pregnant lady. We will stay here again!

Wonderful stay in Key West!

The Scarlet Mango is a very quaint and well maintained inn right in downtown Key West. The location is excellent with great restaurants within a block and easy access to Duval St and KW sites. The room, like the rest of the property, was scrupulously clean and overall exceeded expectations. Staff are great - very friendly and easy to get a hold of - and communication and check in were easy. The pool, while small, was a great asset and was nice to have since the ocean was chilly! Only minor comment was that, although not on a major road, there can be some street noise (loud vehicles etc) on occasion, but this was not a major problem. The upstairs guests were also a bit heavy footed the first night but fortunately left after that. Overall, highly recommend!

The entire property is very well maintained and our room was meticulously kept. The snacks and pool towels in room were a nice touch. Only negative is room is a bit noisy with all the traffic going by (and morning rooster calls, lol) but it definitely would not prevent us from returning. Highly recommend!

Weekend Stay in Key West

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hosts were exceptional and accommodating while property exceeded expectations. Room was clean and felt recently remodeled . Bed and linens were fresh and comfortable. Little extras included snacks and more than enough towels for our stay. Did I mention CLEAN, we are a bit clean freaks ourselves and this property met our standards which says something. We also enjoyed the pool, which although is shared by all of the guests, felt very private and lush.Finally, and in fairness to others who might stay here, the only negative would be road noise. The property is about a block away from the firehouse and when the trucks role, everyone knows about it, even at 3 am. The roosters also crow from about 4am onward (not much anyone can do about either, but if your a light sleeper, beware..Overall, we would stay here again. Hosts were engaged and wanted to ensure a great stay....Thanks
