Wake up refreshed in any of the five bedrooms. There are two king rooms and two queen rooms that boast luxury linens and ensuite walk-in showers. The fifth room, with bunk beds, is perfect for kids. Best family vacation ever!

We loved our stay at Shore Thing. The pool, hot tub and ping pong table were a huge hit. Having the tv down there was an added bonus for watching football! The short walk to the beach was easy. We loved that we could play pickleball on the public courts just a couple of blocks away. We will definitely be back!!

Fun and Family Friendly

A perfect set up for my daughter, myself and 3 grandchildren. The play area downstairs with the pool putting green and ping pong table and bathroom was so much fun for everyone. A 3 minute easy walk to the beach with the house wagon and chairs was perfect. Great location for restaurants. Cyndi at AMI was always available and professional and helpful.

Loved the pool and location for a wells stay

We enjoyed the putting green, jacuzzi and pool on this property. It was great for our family. Four bathrooms upstairs was really nice for our group.

Great Place in AMI

Great weekend watching football! It was big enough for 8 of us and we had the best time w all the tvs, pool, jacuzzi and putting green. We WILL stay here again. So close to the beach too!!

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. Between the amazing pool set up and the proximity to the beach, we had everything we needed. Also super close to the grocery store, which was super convenient. Our group loved our stay! To echo comments from some of the other reviews - there are a few minor things that would really take the house to the next level. There are towel rods in just one of the bathrooms; no other bathrooms have anywhere to hang to dry (which there are a lot of on a beach trip). And 2/3 putters where snapped in half upon our arrival.

Shore Thing

We had a fantastic time at this residence. Everything was as advertised. The heated pool and hot tub were a big hit....especially as we were able to watch college bowl games from the pool/hot tub. The house was super clean and the rental company was very responsible to the 2 issues we had at the house...I highly recommend this property!!

Beautiful 5-bedroom near the beach on Ana Maria Island

Listing describes it perfectly - we had a great time and would happily return. A few minor hiccups were quickly resolved by rental agent - excellent response to our needs. MINOR NOTES - Description about where to park could have been more clear and more info about how to use the hot tub might have been helpful. Hooks in all bathrooms would be helpful.

Amazing pool/partially covered hot tub

This house was lovely and clean and did have some beach accessories like chairs and a wagon to pull things that certainly helped make our stay easier. While, there were a few little things like the washing machine not working, the company was responsive. The rooms are all on the same floor so that can be tough if you have people on different schedules or little ones you will absolutely hear each other. The layout is simple and cheerful and the partially covered pool and hot tub are perfect on really sunny and stormy days. The house manager was extremely accessible, the location was perfect, equidistance from the water on either side.

Shore Thing

The 11 of us (6 adults and 5 kids) had a great week. The pool area made it all happen. The property fencing with perimeter landscaping provides a nice secluded feel. Easy walk to the beach. We had 3 families so enough bathrooms for all to have their own. The kitchen, dining area and TV area served us perfectly. The main bedrooms could have a dresser unit for clothing, but this is not a deal breaker at all. Thank you, Shore Thing, for a great week!

Disastrous Disappointment

Host Rental Agency/Owner neglected to make sure house was ready and prepared for our weekly rental. After Hurricanes I reached out to the Host to confirm our booked rental was still available on two seperate dates in case we needed to make other plans for our Family Vacation. I sent the 1st communication on 9/30/24 with a response that they are only communicating to those rentals coming up within the next few months, the 2nd communication asking of the validity of our rental and dates on 11/16/24 with a response from AMI Rentals on 11/18 saying "Shore Thing" House did exceptionally well and our rental/vacation dates are all good to go. Upon arrival we immediately noticed and notified Rental Company of green pool/hot tub that also had fecal matter floating in the pool and green algae growing along sides of pool and water temperature was very cold, not heated as advertised. Washer did not work at all and had a bag of parts sitting on top of machine and dryer made a terrible noise and smelled like rubber burning when we tried to use it. We rented a 5 bedroom house with not enough hot water for 7 adults/4 bathrooms to take a complete hot shower. Heat did not work, bed linens were old, ripped and outdated, towels were poor quality, furniture is worn, especially outside furniture and weeds growing everywhere. To top it off when we returned home, 4 of 7 adults had to be treated for bed bugs. We were paid 1,000 compensation/hush money to not give bad review. We have pictures!!

AC in the rooms wasn’t working properly, really hot at night, technician came to fix it but was the same really hot at night. Landcasping need to be done around the house is bad, any animal can be there, the fake grass has some broken glass, someone needs to go and check on this. I will not rent this house in the future.

Unpleasant stay

Instead of enjoying family time I was contacting the property managers several times about wet towels left in the washer (smelled), no towel hangers in the bathrooms, water rising up to ankles in the shower, TV by the pool did not function, flat pillows in the bedroom, excessive amount of bugs (gnats) surrounding the pool. We all got bit and my son was covered with bug bites all over his face due to having autism and not being aware that the bugs were biting his face. There should have been a bug light to keep them away and we should have received a prior warning about this to bring bug spray or bug spray provided. When I reached out to the property management about this I was told that the property gets sprayed on Mondays. The biggest problem we encountered was on our check out day. That morning at 8am we all got woken up by people walking through the property and placing ladders next to our windows and making loud noises on the roof. We were never notified ahead of time. We felt that our privacy was invaded and frankly this was not professional. When I reached out to the property manager I was told that probably the owner had this scheduled and did not notify them. I never got a call from the property managers or a response for any type of compensation for this mishap. This stay was expensive and we do not feel that we received the value that we paid for. We should not have encountered so many issues or felt unsafe during our stay.
