We booked this place for a week so I could work at our office in Shrewsbury and my husband could get some R&R. The house was lovely and we loved that we could walk to restaurants and the store. The bed was super comfortable and we loved having a whole house to spread out in. We would definitely stay here again. The host was super responsive.

We had a nice time. It’s in a great spot near the beach and lots of restaurants and shops. 10am check out was a little early, but we managed. They let us in a little early before checkin on Friday which was really nice since we had arrived early.

The place was exactly as explained! Very clean and comfortable. Beds were extremely comfortable! Love this place and we certainly go back. The communication with the owner was very welcoming and he explained every we need to know.

Great per friendly house in Sea Bright!

Really nice house with very nice furnishings & style. Especially loved the rooftop deck for lounging & water the river & sunsets. Walking distance to shops, restaurants & the beach. A short drive to other nearby towns. Would definitely rent again & recommend to friends. Thanks for a great stay.

Holiday Weekend getaway!

My hubby & I had a wonderful 3 night stay here. Cute, cozy little house w/ garage. Ben gave great instructions to access. We were able to check in early as there wasn’t someone checking out. Sry clean, very close to few restaurants and grocery store. Highly recommend!

The property was charming. Had everything we needed for our week stay. Restaurants just round the corner and very walkable. Must be able to walk up and down three sets of steps. One parking spot in front of garage.

Cozy home away from home

We are locals who booked our stay in order to be close to our home during a few home renovations which required us to move out of our home for a week. Loved our stay at the beach cottage. Nice to stay in a walkable town and loved daily walks on the beach. Appreciated the open floor plan on 1st level and the bedrooms upstairs. Made it possible for both of us to work in separate areas during the day. Host was incredibly gracious and accommodating.

Ben the manager was super with info and communication. Property could use some TLC by owner. Tree of Heaven in backyard, hosting tons of lantern flies. Great location, so nice to be able to walk everywhere.

Nice Little Place

I enjoyed my stay despite 2 minor annoyances. The Nest thermostat seemed to be programmed so we could not adjust (or maybe that was just us). Also, we noticed some dog hair in the living area especially under the eating bar. Otherwise I would come back if ever in the area.

Sea Bright Getaway

Just returned from our 2nd week-long vacation at this venue and really can’t say enough good things. Originally from a neighboring town, we know the area well and this is perfectly located for either venturing out and seeing family/friends or hanging out in the beautiful town of Sea Bright. Great restaurants are within walking distance, as is the beach/boardwalk. Easy to enjoy a run/walk/bike ride from the home or into Sandy Hook which is a little over 2 miles down the main road. Home is very user-friendly and Ben the owner is extremely accessible and responsive. We’d have no reason to seek out another venue when traveling to Sea Bright.

Nice bright home

Cute little home, had everything I needed for my five day stay while my home a few towns over was undergoing renovations. Sea Bright is a darling little town, and you can walk to everything from this location - and importantly, you get parking (garage + parking pass; once you’re parked, you really don’t need to drive unless you’re leaving town). The rooftop deck has amazing views of the ocean and river (alas happened to be chilly while I was there). The place was clean, updated and as described. WiFi was good, as was the natural lighting (both important since I work from home). My dog was happy too! (be aware - the neighbor has 3 outdoor cats that sit under their car…) Ben the property manager was very responsive and answered my questions promptly.

This was an okay house. It's worn with some quirks, such as locking the garage from inside and walking to second level to lock door. It has no dining room, and the barstools at the kitchen counter are low - not for counter height. The nest thermostat was the most annoying thing. It would not stay where we set it - waking up to 50 degrees blowing on our face was crazy. But it was close to the beach and several eating places. The host was responsive to questions.
