We really enjoyed the kayaks & the fishing poles. Great little fire pit. House was very user friendly and fully stocked. Host/ Jeremiah very accommodating and made the experience even better. Great place for the kiddos especially!
Perfect Lakeside Getaway After a Baseball-Filled Day
We stayed at this beautiful cabin while in town for a Perfect Game baseball tournament in East Cobb, and it could not have been a better experience. The drive to the fields was scenic and easy, with minimal traffic, making it the perfect locationâclose enough to everything, yet tucked away for peace and relaxation. What made this trip truly special was the time spent at the cabin. After long days at the ballfields, we looked forward to coming back to enjoy Lake Lanier. The boys couldnât get enough of kayaking, swimming, and playing in the water until the sun went down. Calling them in each night was a challengeâthey were having that much fun!In the evenings, we cozied up and watched movies and even learned a bit about the history and legends of Lake Lanier, which made the experience even more memorable for the kids. The cabin itself was well-stocked with everything we neededâjust bring your own groceries and youâre all set. The space was clean, comfortable, and felt like a true home away from home.Weâre already talking about coming back again, and next time we plan to bring the entire family. If youâre looking for a peaceful lakeside getaway with just the right amount of adventure, this is the place. Highly recommend!
This was a very relaxing stay. The property was exactly as described. The cabin was fully stocked with anything you could need. We liked the down home feeling and seclusion. Peaceful beautiful surroundings. The fish were elusive from time to time, but we spent a lot of time out on the dock regardless. Jeremiah was always available. Highly recommend this property.
Brought my son and his friends to celebrate his 18th bday. It was perfect for a boys trip! They used the kayaks and fished off the dock. The owner was super responsive and great to work with. Will definitely try to come back when the weather is warmer!
A group of us ladies traveled from all over and stayed to attend a ministry training. The owner was accommodating and prompt.
Take note that the pathway to house is a little steep if you have anyone with limitations. And the coffee pot is a 5cup so if you need larger I would reach out to host as Iâm sure he would meet your needs. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
The house is relatively small but very comfortable and well appointed. There were six of use but we never felt crowded (we used a couple of camp chairs that we brought with us). The short walk down to the dock though relatively steep wasn't bad. Spent most of our time on the dock doing a little fishing. Though other houses are nearby we found the location very quite and peaceful. Great place and we will be back :)
Very cute, quiet and relaxing place. We really enjoyed the dock and the fact we could borrow the kayaks. Swimming and jumping off the dock was my daughters favorite. The beds were aeverythinf we
The house was very cute and very accommodating. The owners of this house have true hospitality. The yard down to the lake is very steep so make sure youre ready to make the hike back up. It was very secluded and dark. If youre trying to get away from city life and bright lighrs.... this little cabin is definitely a great choice! The owners were very responsive to my texts and are very personable. Loved our stay!
We absolutely loved our stay at the lake. The property is nestled in the woods and you feel like you are alone. Wildlife is abundant, sunrises are remarkable and the cabin has large windows and a deck for full views. The cabin is well stocked and perfect for a lake getaway without the constant drum of activity on the south end of the lake. For those with limited mobility, access to the cabin and lake may be challenged by the length and steepness to both. But even though we are older and one of us has a bum knee, we were able to access both by going slow. I would highly recommend this venue to those that love this type of environment. And Jeremiah is an excellent host! 5 stars!
It was decent. No bells and whistles but decent. The trail going to the lake is kinda steep and theirs no railing. At the dock their is little railing and a basic dock, not much seating. The bathroom is very small. The kitchen is decent but small and the pots and pans are good. Bring your own seasonings and foil. The towels and rags are pretty worn in. I'd suggest bringing your own. The parking lot is tight. We had 3 cars and have no idea where a 4th would have went. Also, be prepared to load in with a nice little walk to the cabin from the lot. So, heavier items like coolers and luggage will be a little challenging. AND you have to go down steps, then up steps to enter the cabin. The beds are a real highlight! The mattresses and pillows are amazing! We rested very well. There aren't any lights over the stove, so they put click lights that didn't work. The bunk beds are super small moreso for children and the top bunk is little too low in my opinion. But, otherwise it was decent and clean. But very small and compact. It kinda feels like a treehouse. It's an order cabin, and it felt pretty safe in the area. The host is pretty responsive too.
Jeremiah was very attentive at check in. The cabin is well equipped inside and out and itâs a beautiful place. The only criticism would be providing an outdoor fire pit but then not allowing fires.
We spent 3 nights at the cabin. It was very relaxing with a nice hike down to the lake. We are over 50 and had no trouble getting to the dock and back. Check in was easy and the cabin was like a home away from home. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cabin to stay at on this lake. Bonus that we could bring our dog. Thank you.
