Serene country cottage on the beautiful Suwannee River!
If youâre looking for a peaceful setting on the river thatâs close to nearby springs, then this is the place for you. Private boat dock, deck and fenced yard makes this a perfect weekend getaway. This is truly our slice of paradise and we hope our guests enjoy it as much as we do. Please read ALL the rules. So there are no surprises here are the fees we charge: $80 cleaning fee, $250 per person per day for non-approved guests, $50 per pre-approved pet, $500 for unapproved pets We welcome guests with boats (depending on length) or jet skis however there will be a $50 per day trailer fee. We do have cameras on the outside only, There are 3 cameras on the top floor monitoring the dock, water level and front door. for trespassers. Downstairs: There is one monitoring the front yard, one for the front door entrance/main house stairs , one monitoring downstairs storage/water closet, one monitoring the back yard and back door entrance.
we had a short visit, didnt use the dock or water facilities, very clean. The internet or streaming anything on the TV was basically useless. so we were stuck with 3 local channels and on a sunday, lets just say there wasnt much to watch. i think maybe there needs to be a wifi booster as the internet is coming from upstairs private area and there just isnt enough signal to get throug the floor. overall good stay.
We had a wonderful time and the house had everything you would need for a getaway. A plus was, we were able to bring our little yorkie (dog).
Thank You Kelli Bielanski
Our stay here was spectacular. This is the most beautiful, relaxing and comfortable place anyone could ask for. We came her to rest from the rest of the world and fell in love with it from the moment we arrived. We wished we had booked it for a longer stay. We highly recommend this place to anyone. Already planning for a return visit.
Once again, our stay at your peaceful, clean place did not disappoint. We had a great time exploring and fishing and looking for yard sales. Hope to get back soon!
From start to finish, this was the perfect getaway! The host communicated all instructions and was so pleasant. The house was clean, and extremely welcoming. The property was so PEACEFUL. A great retreat. Will definitely be staying again.
Apartment is nicely decorated and has all the amenities needed. Quiet neighborhood. Grocery store is 10 miles away so would advise to bring with you so you don't have to leave.
The property was nice and well kept. The host allowed our dog to come with us and it was our first road trip with him. If he could talk he would say he was in heaven running around freely on the large property. I think he was depressed when we got home and missed the property. He is back to normal again. đ A queen bed would be a nice change. Perhaps in the future.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It's small, but beautifully furnished with a well-equipped kitchen. The view from the back of the house is amazing. We chose a VERY cold few days to stay :( so we didn't use the deck, patio and dock, but they would be fantastic in nicer weather. There were lots of nearby springs. We enjoyed picking strawberries at The Farm Stand (which also had good Mexican food). And we enjoyed a visit to the quilt museum in Chiefland, about a 1/2 hour drive away. My one suggestion to the owner would be to provide somewhere for guests to put their suitcases and personal items--a couple of tables or shelves would be terrific.
We were looking for a relaxing getaway on the water, and that was exactly what we found. The accommodations were perfect. The kitchen was well stocked with any pots, pans and utensils you might need. Board and card games were available. Television was provided and with the help of WiFi you can watch a great variety of free movies or Netflix and Prime, if you have an account. We even watched a game of our hometown baseball team that my son coaches on YouTube! So many interesting Springs in the area to visit and explore. We are already checking our calendar to see when we can come back! Thank you so much for the great vacation!
Very quiet, well-appointed space right on the river. More functionally connected to the river if you have a boat, but lovely to sit on the swing or deck or around the firepit and enjoy the river scenery. Lots of swimming holes nearby as well. Didn't understand the listing that says studio and then lists 2 bedrooms until I got there - it is actually one big area and there are two beds, not separate bedrooms. Host has done a beautiful job of thinking of all the little extras or things that you might accidentally forget and providing them. Nice little personalized touches when you arrive were sweet as well. Great guide to the area provided. Easy check-in and check-out with great communication.
This was such a great location for us to be near family. We enjoyed the swinging chair in the morning and evening as we drank in the scene of the lazy river in front. It was very quiet and the AC worked well during some hot and humid weather. The wifi works very well which is a relief as connections can be spotty in the country. The interior is nicely decorated and as clean as could be. There is a wall full of windows that overlook the river as well. There is a French press and a Keurig coffee maker. The closest full-service grocery is Publix in High Springs so do your shopping there in advance. Bring your own pods or use the refillable pods provided. Take note that there is a double (not a queen) bed and a twin bed. We decided to sleep in separate beds rather than squeeze into the double. This didn't matter to us and we would definitely stay here again! Owner, Julie, is very responsive, which we appreciated!
