One bedroom cottage with a private pool oasis. The Charming cottage includes access to your private pool completely fenced in and pet friendly. Equipped with a full size refrigerator and mini kitchen. Great for a weekend away for pleasure or work. 1 Hour from Historic Charleston, SC. It is located between Columbia and Charleston South Carolina. Close to I95 and 26. Beaches are an hour drive to Isle Palms, Folly or Sullivans. Large lakes for great boating and fishing are close by. (A main house is also on the property but still very private, Also the kitchen does not have a stove or stove top. There may be cats on the property)

Great location. Great place if you're traveling with a dog, with fenced in yard. Accommodating host. Enjoyed the stay.Two ares we felt need attention: refrigerator motor is very noisy in a small place; bed is very soft and not comfortable for us.

Adorable! Everything we needed!

This cottage was charming & comfortable! We had enough room to spread out and relax. The pool area is beautiful and serene. Definitely staying there again!

Absolutely Perfect

Quick Weekend Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay! It was clean, cozy and comfortable. Enjoyed the swimming pool and we were about 8 miles from the Edisto River where we took our boat. We are excited about coming back and staying in the future hopefully for a few days more next time.

HEAVEN!!!

My Service Canine & I stayed the week here, it is so perfect in every way. The Cottage was great for the 2 of us, very clean, well equipped, comfortable. The outside area was the best!, pool for me & SAFE completely fenced for JAZZ to run, play, and relax. We hope to visit again, this truly is a hidden HEAVEN on earth! Thank you for having us!!!

Grateful but not clean

I’m so grateful for having somewhere to stay while we evacuated from hurricane Milton. Absolutely perfect for me, husband and our 2 dogs. Fully fenced and secure. Bigger space than it looks! Pretty comfortable bed. There is a cat (and much is mentioned in listing) that lives there or a stray? Very chill cat with my dogs who aren’t around cats. I felt bad my dogs wouldn’t leave it alone, but so chill and everything was fine. I’ve stayed at a lot of rentals and this place was just unclean. So grateful for somewhere to stay but I spent 5 hours cleaning walls, shutters, surfaces and some of the bathroom. Everything was coated in thick dust and cat hair. Literally cat hair balls stuck to the walls and ceilings. Just needs to be professionally cleaned. Great communication with host overall and very kind. I didn’t say anything about the cleanliness because I felt very lucky to have somewhere to stay during the hurricane. Thank you for everything but I had to be honest here about the cleanliness. It would be great if there were more kitchen items to use and fresh coffee pods. Coffee pods and coffee items were covered in sticky dust so we didn’t have any. Really could be an amazing private place with some cleaning! The pool is great and they have a whole set up of little lights that turn on automatically at night which is really cute! Tiny tiny town- no resources close and very few options to find food, plus no stove. Sorry but thank you!!!

Cute, well-designed, quiet, but had cockroaches inside

The moment I arrived in my vehicle, a man pulled-up next to me on a golf cart asking me what I was hunting for. I didn't know who he was and why he was questioning me, as he had not introduced himself. He was a curious neighbor. I found the location to be quiet and the pool house (converted to an apartment) to be well-finished. However, there was a strong, musty smell so I opened all the windows and doors to air it out. That may have been a sign of what I would find during the night. The yard was fenced-in, comfortable, with cute furniture and accessories. There were 4 outdoor cats that came through, one of which was desperate for our attention. The pool was cold, as it would be in October, so we didn't swim. This was a short stop for us on our way through the state. The entrance to the pool house had 2 French doors and no steps, which was nice. The bathroom was very small, but worked. The shower was the smallest one I've ever been in, including RV/Motorhome camper showers, so an average sized person would have a difficult time showering. The living room was very comfortable. The bed mattress and bedding were in need of upgrading, but acceptable for one night. Which brings me to our night-time discovery of cockroaches. There were 3 that I saw of various ages/sizes from juvenile to big-mama. I realized I had been seeing their feces around the place. We looked forward to morning and did not sleep well. I hope the cockroaches can be eliminated, as it's a cute, quiet place.

This place was absolutely perfect to stay while I engaged in a 3-day fossil dig in Summerville. The home was so clean, quaint, and the neighborhood was adorable. I also met the hostess and she was extremely kind. I would recommend this to anyone!

Loved the pool and cottage. It was a bit difficult to carry everything a long way to the cottage from the car. The only complaint was not enough dish ware and coffee maker did not work.

Furniture was stained,paper plates and plastic silverware , microwave on top of refrigerator-hard to reach, no place to put makeup, etc in bathroom, no light over the mirror, could not control fan speed in bedroom, no way to hang dresses, on the last morning there was large cockroach on the wall by the bed!

We were in town for a family wedding. The cottage is cozy and suited our needs. It is better served for two people rather than three, but we managed nicely. The owner was great with communication and very friendly, even chatting with us in person when they happened to catch us in passing. The property owner has two very friendly dogs on the other side of a fence which we loved, and we had daiy visits from the friendliest tortie polydactyl kitty! The garden is just lovely and we very much enjoyed spendinf time out there.

This adorable studio cottage was the perfect one-night stop on our long drive from Miami to Maryland! There were many options for food within a few miles and the owner has plates and utensils for our use. The pool was clean and available for the duration of our stay and the back area with the pool house provides privacy with its own entrance area.

St George Cottage

Super cute little house for our girls trip, very clean and cozy! Awesome communication from the owner, she is very kind. Really convenient driving distance from Charleston, and my friends and I felt very safe in the neighborhood traveling as young women. I have no complaints!

Such a beautiful property! Can’t say enough good things about this place. My wife, 3 month old baby and 2 pups all enjoyed this back yard and stay! Can’t wait to go back on our way home. The whole yard is fenced in perfectly and the hosts are very accommodating.
