This duplex unit is cozy and comfortable. It's updated with all new appliances, is tastefully decorated and has very comfortable mattresses.
Located just 3 blocks from PARK AVE to the east and 2 blocks from THE WINTER PARK VILLAGE to the west. Vast amounts of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Parks and museums within easy walking distance as well. We have bikes available on property for your use as well, free, of course. Cheesecake Factory and PF Chang's two blocks away. Publix Grocery two blocks, Whole Foods 1/2 mile and Trader Joes 3/4 mile away. And many fantastic local restaurants and shops within a pleasant walking distance.
The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art is just three blocks away and the Scenic Boat Tour offers a boat tour through the canals to three of the five lakes on the Winter Park Chain of Lakes. The Winter Park Country Club nine hole golf course is just a few blocks away and open to the public.
The property is professionally managed in a "mom and pop" fashion. Your privacy is respected and protected. The amenities are very nice with a lovely pool area that has a massive bouganvillea trellis hedge running atop a wall. The pool area also offers outside dining, a grill station for cooking outside and a hot tub. The pool is heated in winter. Everything is kept very clean. There are seven bikes, including one child's bike and two other relatively small ones available for guests in the fourteen unit complex.
This is my second stay at this property, and will definitely be back again! The duplex is in such a great area. The accommodations are so comfortable. The pool is great. And Chris is a wonderful host!
Comfortable duplex with easy access to lots of shops and restaurants
Bedrooms were comfortable and having a proper desk was convenient for remote work. Chris was very responsive to a couple of issues that came up during our 2-month stay. Nice to have access to the lovely pool in the property adjacent.
The home in Winter Park is in a perfect location and has everything you need all in a very comfortable space. Walking distance to Park Avenue, quick drive to downtown Orlando and access to I-4 made this a very convenient location for me on a work trip. Great internet, working area, well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living spaces were so welcomed and appreciated. I also loved having a fenced in space for my dog, and pool area to use. Great space, highly recommend!
I was a financial consultant for 16 years. I was born to a home in Winter Park on the Isle of Sicily, Lake Maitland and attended boarding schools in New Hampshire, North Carolina and Switzerland starting at grade 8. I built these condominiums for sale with horrible timing finishing them in January 2009. I own the entire complex (only 10 apartments) and a duplex and two houses the other side of the wall from the pool area. I love Winter Park and very much enjoy leasing these properties.
These apartments offer a very enjoyable atmosphere and their LOCATION is superb! Park Avenue in Winter Park is the crown jewel of Greater Orlando and the Winter Park Chain of Lakes are fabulously beautiful. The apartments are chique, modern and very attractive. We keep the place up very well and clean! All of them have hardwood floors, beautiful porcelain tile and marble with no carpet except tasteful area rugs.
The pool area is very beautiful boasting a heated salt water pool, hot tub, and grill station. There are very many shops, restaurants, bars, places of worship, museums and a library within walking distance. A car isn't really necessary and there are four bikes available for your use. Amtrak and SunRail stop at Winter Park Station just five blocks away.
