Lovely home

This home was very comfortable with lots of games and books. You can tell that the owners love this place. It's a little bit of an older home, but I think that gave it some extra charm. The appliances worked well, and I liked having access to a laundry machine and dishwasher. It was cold when we visited, but I imagine sitting out in the sun room with a cold drink and playing a game with my family would be wonderful in the summer. The neighborhood this home is located in is also very safe and quiet, and I went on many morning walks by myself. This is definitely a great place to rent for a family looking to unwind near the beach!

Great place in quiet neighborhood

This house is in a quiet neighborhood, with a large fenced in yard. We were in the area for a wedding, and having a home base close to the wedding venue was important to us. Our dog settled in quite nicely. It is a nice neighborhood to walk your dog. The house could use updating, as it appears to be an 80s house, but we were happy with the quietness. I had initially given the house a 5 star review when we first arrived, as it appeared to be clean, just old. The floors really need to be mopped. We felt that we had to wear shoes in the house due to this, which we weren't used to. Also, when we stripped the bed at our departure, we noticed that the underside of the comforter had blood stains on it, which was kind of disgusting. Next time, we will inspect these areas more closely. All in all, a great stay!

Country Estates - 15 Wagon Wheel, Ocean View, Delaware

Cute and quaint. All rooms were nicely decorated in a shore like motif. Felt like home. Games, movies, magazines, dog provisions; everything you’d look for in a home away from home. Minor issues were that we found a wall clock that appeared to have fallen from the wall and cracked. We called it in so that they were aware. Two of the exterior doors had a problem sliding and locking. Slider off of family room was very tough to open and close and wouldn’t lock except pole lock. Screen porch off of family room had 2 doors. One which led to the deck had a problem locking. Overall this home was a great deal and only minutes from the beach! Hope to return again next year same time!
