Here is a nice modern Alaskan townhome. This stylish and spacious place to stay is perfect for group trips, families, large families and travel professionals. There is a wonderful view of the mountains from the living room and dining room. It is located 10 minutes to downtown - 20 minutes to the airport. Easy access to highway, restaurants, entertainment, and grocery store. It is near the Tikahtnu Mall that has many restaurants and shopping. It is also near the Alaska Native Heritage Center.
Irena was a great host. She allowed us to check in early. My family was visiting for my nephews graduation. They loved the space. When they are back in town we will definitely be renting this space again.
Our original host had a computer glitch and had double booked our large group, but she had already found a solution that was simply perfect. She never made me doubt or panic. We were down the street a bit, but she fixed it all.
The inside is very nice. Irene has it decorated beautifully and well stocked. Everything we needed was there. Just be aware there are a number of stairs to navigate. We would definitely stay here again.
Nice interior. Neighborhood was ok. Good location close to shops/food/highway 1. Four bedrooms which made it nice for our families to have their own space. Host responded pretty quickly to questions.
Owner switched us to property that did not have enough beds
House was booked January 3 for our May 30 stay.
Owner sent me a message on May 24 stating she had switched me to a âbetterâ property.
We have 14 in our group.
The house we originally booked sleeps 16.
The house she switched us to only sleeps 10.
4 adults had to sleep on a sectional sofa that did not expand to a bed.
I filed a complaint with Vrbo.
This âbucket listâ trip turned into a nightmare at the very beginning of our vacation. Owner would not call meâshe only sent text messages. She convinced herself that the new house was betterâ-it was NOT. It was a house that was not even listed on VRBO. I guess it was her house!!!! Unbelievable!!!
