This is a charming house in a quiet neighborhood. We loved the historic set up of the place, mixed with modern conveniences. Would definitely stay again!
Peaceful oasis! We enjoyed this grand âole house. The coffee bar is awesome. Everyone had a wonderful nights sleep. Perfect location too. Five stars!!
Very nice place. Secluded spacious back yard. Large kitchen and dining room with everything you need except food. Great for a semi-large group. Thatâs where Iâll stay on my next trip to Trinidad. Thanks, Randy.
This was such a great place to overnight on the way to our yearly ski vacation. I wanted to find a sweet little home rather than staying at a hotel. This really was th perfect place. It was super quaint, clean and plenty of room. The host was quick to respond and very polite. I highly recommend!
We really enjoyed staying at this house. There were enough beds and rooms for those of us coming from out of town, and I loved that the add allowed for visitors. It was wonderful to be able to have the family that lived in town come over for dinner, board games, etc. It's a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Just a few blocks from downtown and about a mile from Simpsons rest. The bathrooms and showers were a little quirky, but functional. I will definitely try to book this residence again the next time I visit.
We had everything we needed for our family group of 8⊠ages 7, would, 16, 19, 22, and 2 grandparents in their 70âs.
Our son lives in Trinidad and was within a short walk. The large size of the living room, dining room and bedrooms gave us plenty of room to spread out, especially when the local family joined us and our numbers went to 13. The back yard was great for us and the dog(s).
My only suggestion would be to trim the master bedroom door so that is closes all the way.
We had a quiet, restful stay at this beautiful home in Trinidad. The neighborhood was great for walking our dog, and our kids loved playing in the nicely landscaped backyard. I loved the little extras like a bath bomb from a local maker to use in the clawfoot tubs. My only concern was that the stairs are steep and the upstairs bathroom is right at the top, so if you have really little kids you might want to keep them in the one bedroom downstairs at night. A gate at the top of the stairs might be useful for those who have smaller children so they don't fall going to the bathroom at night, but we managed just fine.
The backyard was exactly what we have been looking for, large, secluded in a oasis of Sunflowers. That was the highlight of the trip. It was calming, relaxing and the beauty of nature. My little doggy, Zenyatta really enjoyed it also. I would suggest you include a beautiful picture of the backyard with all those sunflowers on vrbo website of your house, a nice touch for those who visit in the summer. The bathtubs were wonderful and large. The home had a feeling of being back in the 1880's. We really enjoyed! We will be back again. Thanks for sharing this house.

The house itself was very well furnished . Had lots of comfy beds , pillows , blankets and a cute old house. The yard was another story . The pictures showed a well kept yard , but when we arrived it was very overgrown and unkept. A big part of the reason we rent a house is because we travel with our pups and want a nice yard for them . We walked them on a leash in the yard to avoid all the overgrown things attaching to their fur and in case there were unknown dangers in the tall weeds
The house was nice and we had a pleasant stay. Points of improvement would be making sure there are enough towels and wash cloths for the number of guests as well as having more kitchen cooking utensils available. Overall, a good experience though.
